Bayon Shadow Villa is good for a budget holiday if you stay for 2-3 days. Pros - close to the center - 5 minutes on foot, responsive and friendly staff, cozy and large rooms at a low price (with TV, shower, decorative elements), free tuk-tuk transfer from the airport. Modest but delicious breakfasts on the roof (omelette, coffee, juice, sandwich with butter and jam), free small bananas and coffee with tea at any time. There are towels, toothpaste, soap in the room (they are brought during cleaning, which is on demand). You can use the pool of the main hotel if you eat at the restaurant for at least $ 5. I left a $2 tip for the cleaner on the bed - after cleaning (cleaning on demand) I found them on the bedside table) In general, for tips, etc., the hotel has two drawers with the inscription tip (at the reception and in the dining room). At the same time, every time you go to the center (Pub Street) it's tiring, as well as walking back for a break. I don't know why. Despite the proximity of the center, the hotel is located in an alley where the evening drive of Pub Street and the surrounding streets is not felt. But this is a personal opinion, actually there are no complaints about the hotel and the staff, in itself it suited me - it so happened that I needed to save money) On the other hand, there are 3 restaurants near the hotel (two for guests and one purely for locals) - where, despite the "almost center", the price is one and a half to two times lower than in the very center (although it is also cheap in the center). Payment is made by bank card, which is rare in Cambodia. High audibility can be noted. The Wi-Fi in the room was weak. There are two computers for residents at the reception.
