A great place to explore the sights of Astana. It's a very symbolic building, and there's a nice museum and souvenir shop downstairs. Admission from an adult is 2000-2500 tenge, depending on the day of the week. The view of the city is amazing. I recommend it!

A place that has become a symbol of Astana. In order to get to the top, you need to queue at the ticket office, but in general, the view of the city is beautiful in all directions and you can see how the steppe begins behind the houses and neighborhoods. If there is a desire to touch Nazarbayev's handprint, then you will have to defend another separate queue of breakers.🙂

A must have - if you are in Astana. It symbolizes the transfer of the capital to Astana, which is why the height is 97 meters, as well as the year it was moved. And most importantly, it is a Turkic symbol - the Tree of Life - with a golden egg (= Sun) of the Samruk bird. The elevator will quickly take you up, at the very top of the stairs there is a handprint of the 1st President, where everyone makes wishes. You can have a cup of tea or coffee at the top, and buy souvenirs at the bottom. Queues in summer. One of the interesting viewing platforms

It's a beautiful view and everything - inside there's just a glass ball with a good view of the city, but unfortunately the 40 minutes in line at the entrance have greatly spoiled the experience of visiting... Entrance 1, there are only 2 elevators - it can accommodate 8-10 people, if you are as "lucky" as I am and the time of the visit coincides with mass excursions - you will have to stand at the entrance on the street for 40 minutes until people come down from the top... and there's usually a huge queue for a photo with a golden palm....

The main attraction of Astana. It is located in the city center. It looks beautiful and modern. Nazarbayev's handprint is on the top floor. It was summer, and there weren't too many people. We recommend it!

It's beautiful outside. The queue lasts 1.5 hours. They start the crowd. It's incredibly hot at the top. Everyone is trying to take a picture with this hand. The crush. In short, you can look outside and that's enough.

The view of the city is not very extensive, only on the square around, the buildings standing nearby do not monitor the roofs, a very interesting rusty view opens from the height, the queues are very long, maybe we got there, but we stood for 2.5 hours to take a picture for 1 minute. The building seems to be clean, but it hasn't been repaired for a long time. Guided tours are allowed out of turn. So I advise you to either go on an excursion, or if there is absolutely nothing to do.

I'm a patriot and I don't like to be negative, but I can't help but write this here. To be honest, it's not worth the money. Almost nothing but long, long, stifling queues at every turn. 1 queue to enter the building, 2 queue to the ticket office, 3 queue to the elevator, 4 queue to the site where the hand is, 5 queue already at the site itself to take a picture in one position. I'll take a picture of you, but you still have to pay for one photo from 1500 tenge. It's very hot and stuffy in the ball itself, although there are a lot of air conditioners and they work, but I wouldn't say that you can cool down even next to them. All this time I was there, I was jealous of my son because he stayed at home. The views from the ball are normal, but the visibility is mostly not very good, and the sun is blinding. The souvenirs downstairs are very, very expensive. And as such, there's nothing to see. And the staff at the very top is very disrespectful and rude, yelling at everyone, no respect for people, spoiling the whole mood, people are tired, there are few benches for so many people, they silently endure the queue, the heat, and then some one appears and starts yelling and building everyone up, and by the way, even without her orders, people they stood in line normally, no one climbed on anyone, decently, respectfully, took up a queue, invited each other to sit on a bench. And it's also very important to put a water sale at the bottom, we stood in queues for a long time, it was very hot and there was nowhere to buy water, even on the street there is no nearby. I was very thirsty, I had to endure it until I got home by taxi in traffic jams, it's terrible.

A great place to relax, singing fountains, beauty. The place is clean, there is a toilet. The only way to get to Bayterek is to queue inside, then queue to buy a ticket, next queue to take the elevator, then queue to go upstairs, and finally queue to take a picture. The last thing to do is take the elevator down, the air conditioners are working inside, but it's still hot.

It's a beautiful place. The monument itself is impressive. Baiterek in Kazakh mythology means the Tree of Life. At the top is a golden egg, a symbol of the sun, which the dragon is trying to steal. The struggle of good and evil is an eternal plot. Nicely. And I really liked the park around - well-groomed, green. It doesn't matter what the weather is. It's worth visiting here!

An original and beautiful building from which you can look at the city from a height, tickets are inexpensive, there is an observation deck with a circular panorama at the top, there is a cafe, a toilet. Also at the top in the center there is a wooden globe with autographs of representatives of 17 religions of the world and an imprint of N. Nazarbayev's right hand

A beautiful symbol of Astana, definitely worth a visit at least once. The observation deck offers a great view of the city, especially in the evening. Convenient location — there are many attractions and cafes nearby. On the downside, it's pretty modest inside. During rush hours, you can get into a long queue for the elevator. I would like more interactive elements and information. Overall, it's a great place for city visitors and architecture enthusiasts.

Baiterek is a symbol of Astana and one of the most recognizable places in Kazakhstan. The majestic tower with its original architecture embodies the ancient legend of the Tree of Life and the golden egg of Samruk. Visiting the observation deck is a mandatory part of the program. From the height there is a stunning view of the modern part of the city with its futuristic buildings and wide avenues. It is especially beautiful here at sunset, when the city is shining with lights. An interesting detail is that inside the glass ball there is a palm print of the First President of Kazakhstan. Tourists are happy to put their hands on the symbolic relic. The only drawback is that there are queues during the tourist season, but the wait is worth it. The atmosphere, views and legend make Bayterek an unforgettable place.

Hello, traveler! "Baiterek" in Astana is like meeting with something majestic and at the same time mysterious, like an urban "giant" who is always ready to take pictures with tourists! This 97-meter tower with a giant ball at the top has become a symbol of the capital of Kazakhstan, and, frankly, for good reason. Well, imagine: the tower symbolizes the tree of life, on top of which sits the golden egg of the mythical samruk (translated into modern language — a place for selfies). Climbing up to the observation deck inside this "golden egg", you have a unique opportunity to see not only the magnificent panorama of the city, but also ... leave a handprint! Yes, the palm print of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, is located in the upper part. Put your hand in and feel involved in something great, even if you have plans to just snap an Instagram shot. Bayterek is not just an architectural object, but a whole philosophy. When you look at it from below, the ball seems inaccessible, but as soon as you climb up, you realize that nothing is impossible! It is especially pleasant there at sunset, when the glass ball begins to shimmer with golden shades and the city turns into a shining ocean. By the way, a separate life hack: if you will be there in winter, do not forget to warm up. Inside, of course, it is warm and cozy, but as soon as you go outside — well, this is Astana, the frosts here are such that Bayterek may seem like a warm house! Total: Baiterek is not just a place for hiking, it is a symbol that calls everyone to strive for new heights and believe in their strength.

I liked it 🫰❤The only thing was that we stood in line for about an hour, arrived in the morning, it was closed, returned by 4 p.m., the entrance costs 2,500 tenge, a bird's-eye view of the city, Polite staff, you can buy souvenirs inside, pay with cash and card, there seemed to be a coffee machine downstairs and on the 3rd floor there is a small island with food and drinks, ice cream is also available.

We were in Astana in August 2024. They did not get to the tower on the first day, there was a long queue, they did not stand. We came the next day in the morning for the opening, there were people, but few. We went inside, there was a ticket office on the ground floor, bought a ticket and took the elevator to the top. During the ascent, nothing much is visible from the elevator, because the construction fittings were blocking everything. On the top floor, there is a palm print of their First President, we did not go there, we went for a ride. The view from above is very beautiful, especially on their flowerbeds below, they look like carpets from above.

Visited on July 27th, 25. Everyone was thrilled, but these queues. Stand for 2 hours, go inside the queue again, but already to the ticket office, take the elevator to the top, also a queue. To take a picture where N.Nazarbayev's hand is, it's a queue. If you are going to watch with the guests, calculate your time, it will pass in your queues.

It was held twice, in June 2013 and in May 2024. Astana has changed beyond recognition, got upset, grew up, acquired all the attributes of magapolis and the capital - crowds of people, tourists and mighty traffic jams. Baytarek is a little lost in scale, against the modern background of Astana, but it is still interesting and unusual. At the top of the monument, there is a circular observation deck, right in the golden ball, which adds interest to the object, from here you can take different photos with a panorama of Astana, it is worth going up.

The building itself is very interesting, clean, and has a great overview, but the organization is simply terrible! The waiting time is one and a half to two hours, and not because of the large number of people, but because of the organization. When climbing to the highest location, a fenced paddock was organized from Nursultan's palm prints, in which it is simply impossible to line up and walk calmly without a girl, as a result, those who are bolder will fly without a queue, and families with children are forced to wait and wait.because it's scary to be in a crush with a child, why not make a narrow fence at the entrance and at the top so that everyone can take turns calmly, like at airports, it's unclear

I recently visited Bayterek in Nur Sultan and was absolutely delighted! It is not only a symbol of the capital of Kazakhstan, but also a stunning observation deck with a breathtaking view of the city. When I approached the tower, I was struck by its architecture — modern and elegant. There are interesting exhibitions inside, telling about the history and culture of Kazakhstan. It takes very little time to climb to the observation deck, and as soon as I got there, I had a stunning view of the city and the surrounding area. I especially remember the moment when I was photographed holding my palm on a majestic golden ball, symbolizing the dreams and aspirations of Kazakhstanis. The atmosphere at the venue was very inspiring. In general, Bayterek is a great place for tourists and locals. I recommend everyone who comes to Nur Sultan to visit this magnificent facility!

Honestly, 4* is a stretch, the tower is overrated, apparently the tourist rage is affecting). She's not tall in person, there's a panorama inside... well, we lived next door in a hotel, on the 17th floor, there's a view!!!and they are included in the price. At the top is Nazarbayev's handprint, for us tourists from Russia, well, it's not hot or cold from him, the entrance is 2500tenge. We went especially in the evening, believing the reviews that the panorama of the city at night is more beautiful, as a result, everything inside is sparkling, because the dome is made of incomprehensible cloudy distorted glazing, as a result, there are no normal photos, no view.

The beauty is incredible! 97 meters. The glass dome. Three floors by elevator and three on foot through the Winter Garden. Some of the plants are real, some are artfully selected artificial. The "birds" are singing. You climb to the top, and the beauty takes your breath away. The city is in full view. Very beautiful. I don't remember the exact cost, it seems 1,300 or 1,800 tenge per guest. You need to roughly divide by 5 to get the cost in rubles. There is no tour, the guests are on their own, but perhaps, with such a beautiful view, this is not required. We visited on March 20 of this year. Angela.

I want to share my impressions of visiting one of the iconic places in Astana, which, despite its architectural advantages, left me with mixed feelings. Firstly, it is worth noting that the architecture of Astana is really impressive. The city is famous for its modern buildings and unique architectural solutions, which are certainly worth seeing with your own eyes. Secondly, it should be borne in mind that at lunchtime the number of tourists increases significantly. This leads to overcrowding of tourist sites and, as a result, to long queues. This is especially noticeable in such popular places as the president's impression, where the queue can stretch for several hours. Such excitement creates not only physical discomfort, but also emotional tension, which does not contribute to the full enjoyment of the views. Thirdly, it is important to note that the organization of tourist flows in Astana leaves much to be desired. Despite the high level of infrastructure, queue management and the allocation of tourists to facilities requires improvement. This is especially true during peak hours, when the number of visitors reaches its maximum.
