Souvenirs, if converted into rubles, are acceptable, given that the place is a tourist destination. The view from the top is simply gorgeous. It is better to take pictures on the top floor where the elevator comes. The structure is in the form of a ball and above the glass is already flashing, the view is worse.

We flew with the team to Astana on business and quite by chance came across Astana Bayterek. One of our team told us that there is a handprint at the top where you can put your palm and make a wish. It became interesting and we decided to stand in a small queue (then we realized that we were lucky with a small number of people in the queue) and after paying a certain amount we took the elevator upstairs. And again it's the turn and we are at the cherished goal)) BUT the goal is the goal, and the panoramic view of the city is stunning. If someone is going to Astana, a new city under construction and for lovers of antiquity (which I am ) There's nothing to see, there's this amazing view and the whole city is in the palm of your hand. There is a small cafe inside. I definitely recommend visiting Bayterek

Guys, don't go to Bayterek, don't repeat my mistakes. I stood for 1.5 hours today (July 8th) (!!!) In four (!!!) At the last one, I just gave up and went back, having already paid the money. I'm not going to comment on the fact that many people are queuing up, pushing children through, wedging themselves in. We are more or less used to this. But the organization of the process is just terrible. There is one queue before the metal detector, then the second queue – just to the ticket office to buy a ticket. Why not put up ticket vending machines? Unclear. Next, the third stage is in the elevator, because it is impossible to go up without an elevator. And finally, the fourth stage, which leads from the dome to the very top – as I understand it, there is a palm print of the first president of Kazakhstan. I didn't know that such a huge number of Kazakhs believed in the miraculous power of the palm print of a person who is still alive and doesn't seem to be canonized, at least officially. As for the bar and the observation deck, guys, don't get your hopes up. There is no viewing platform as such, there are fences and solid thick glass, so since you can't reach the glass, any picture will glare, and the glass is also dirty. I will attach the most successful one that I got so that there is understanding. I hope you don't need the president's palm print in gold. Therefore, if you see a queue, even if it seems small, it is not worth wasting time and nerves. If there is no queue, go ahead, but for 2500 tenge... I am very sad for the residents of Astana, for the guests of the city, it turns out that if this is the top attraction, then ... It's very sad. I sincerely recommend that you do without an external inspection of this beautiful architectural structure.

But I can't recommend visiting it: there is a long queue (we went on a weekday evening), there is no way to buy a ticket online, and only 1 cashier works and very slowly; the "observation" platform itself is not at all a viewing platform - because of the color of the glass, it is very difficult to see anything, there is no way to approach the glass itself - you look at a distance + it is impossible to comfortably walk in a circle - there are always some objects on the way. In general, for a good view of the city, it is definitely not here, you will only regret the money and time spent.

An interesting structure. it offers beautiful views of the city, but dirty glasses spoil the whole impression ( I understand that it is very difficult to wash them, but still I lower the rating for this, it would be more pleasant to admire the landscape through clean glasses. We walked on weekdays, in the district for 18 hours, stood in line for 20 minutes to buy tickets (tickets cost 400 rubles) and another 30 minutes in line on the upper "floor", where Nazarbayev's handprint and a globe with signatures of representatives of religion (there is also a photographer, a printed photo of a large enough size, costs 300 rubles,photo on a 400r magnet) in general, be ready to stand if you want to look at these things and take a picture.
