I don't know if it's possible to swim in the Neman, but I used to spend a lot of time there, so there's something to compare it with. There is a fenced area in the water for toddlers, but mostly ducks swim there. So you can meditate, you can train, you can just contemplate nature. I recommend. My wife and I liked it. However, the ducks are uneducated, they bought special food for them, they turn up their beaks, apparently they don't know that they can't have bread.

It's very nice and clean (workers have been walking around since the morning and carefully cleaning up the garbage, even in the sand), you can't hear the noise of the city and at the same time it seems to be in the city. It's a good place, there's a paddling pool for kids, then the buoys. The sandy beach is on a slope, but you can lie down on the top. There are gazebos, stationary deck chairs, benches. Booths to change clothes. There is a volleyball field nearby. Maybe there's something else, but we weren't there for long and we didn't have time to walk everywhere.
