Cafe near the house. We went to it for many years, sincerely loved it for its comfort, simplicity, friendliness, very tasty food. During the pandemic, when there was quarantine, it was thanks to them that they did not suffer from the lack of barbecue and various goodies, they cooked to take away. Then we were glad when the cafe reopened, we enjoyed spending hot summer evenings by the river, came just like that, had dinner, met with friends, celebrated birthdays. We had lunch or dinner there at least several times a week. Then this place was called Baku-mangal. Then, the owner changed, the cafe became a Den. Of course, we were disappointed, but we hoped that the new owner would be able to retain, and maybe even improve, the reputation of an excellent institution. And at first everything seemed to be fine. There were always a lot of guests, there was no way to get to the weekend without a reservation, the food and assortment were on the level. But this year it was replaced. Joint after joint, the food goes bad, the service goes bad, it gets worse and worse. And we all couldn't believe that our favorite cafe had ordered us to live for a long time, and all the joints, and not small ones, were blamed on an annoying misunderstanding. But a few days ago, I still had to put an end to my relationship with the Den. We came to sit with the family to celebrate a birthday. Before that, they came specially in advance, found out if everything would be on the menu, if everything would be fine. As a result, none of their ordered dishes corresponded to anything decent, the salads were sour, olives with a stone in Greek, raw kebab, ground from fat and bread, absolutely everything turned out to be inedible, without exception. We just had to get up and leave. The place can only be useful to those who are looking for a real example of how to ruin a successful and popular institution in a short time, in which more than half of the guests were very long-term regulars.
If there was an opportunity to put -5 stars, then for the first time in my life I would do it with great pleasure.

The most wonderful filling machine, only a plate with sliced radishes on the bar and 53 barmaleys on the shelves are missing. To say that the kitchen is terrible is to say nothing. It's scary about the same as a person who sees a nuclear mushroom at close range. At the same time, it is better to be this person, because he will not have to taste the masterpieces of this cuisine. People correctly notice that the cafe used to be called "Baku barbecue", the repairs in it were so-so, but the barbecue was really delicious and there were a lot of people, now they focus on repairs, not on the kitchen. How many cooks have changed already - it's no use. The kebab is irretrievably spoiled. Only chalagach is normal, but not everyone eats it. Undercooked fries in beef stroganoff, Kiev cutlets without butter... it can take a long time to list.
Imho, maybe you shouldn't change something, but leave everything as in Baku barbecue (with the exception of cosmetic repairs) because your place is not in the city center and the contingent will not appreciate fine cuisine. A barbecue, a couple of vodkas and a couple of salads are just the thing.

And as I understand it, the cafe is a family cafe, where the family was. In a place where people drink, smoke, and various conversations are held, I think that small children do not belong, of which there were enough, and who constantly ran and played around you.
Cafe atmosphere: it felt like you were the only stranger in this cafe, because everyone knows each other, everyone is familiar. It was also annoying.
By the way, maybe I wasn't there at another time, but the photo on which the cafe is marked is not valid, in my opinion.
I hope the cafe owners will see this review and reconsider their concept.
