It was early in the morning, I was glad that the facility was accessible , as it serves as a place for morning sports runs and dog walking for locals) with rare exceptions , it is clean , greenery / flowers / create a desire to wander and look at walls , gates, towers . it's a bit of a pity that the facility is not particularly protected and there are graffiti- an imprint of modernity) on the historical site.

The Kalemegdan complex is the main historical place in Belgrade. In addition to the fortress itself, there is a zoo, an amusement park for children, playgrounds, a bandstand, a dinosaur park, lots of fountains and places to walk. Stunning views from the fortress of the Danube and Sava rivers (the fortress is located at the confluence of these rivers). When staying in Belgrade, it is difficult not to visit Kalemegdan. I highly recommend it.

Probably one of the most visited places in Belgrade. History lovers are recommended first of all. The fortress is huge, and the view from its walls to the Danube is simply mesmerizing, especially in summer.
During the day and in the evening, huge crowds of locals and tourists sit in the park and stroll along the fortress walls.

We walked on 05/11/2023, the place is impressive, very beautiful despite the rain and wind, but an unpleasant incident occurred in the coffee shop of the Kalemegdan Cafeteria, which left an unpleasant imprint on this place, and the following happened: I ordered coffee and a bun, the girl with glasses said the price, I gave 500 dinars, the girl complained for a long time about the lack of change, then gave a handful of change, then I realized that I needed 470 dinars, I gave her without change, in the end she took the money, 500 dinars did not return, saying that she did not remember anything about these We offered to bring her a cash register, to which she replied that she did not have a cash register, the money was stored in her wallet along with tips. So coffee with a bun cost me 940 dinars change in change from 500 dinars, she graciously allowed me to take it away, I couldn't prove anything there are no surveillance cameras in the coffee shop. She deliberately embezzled my money, be careful.
