Nice zoo with a lot of interesting animals and birds. Some birds walk freely and can be fed, as well as goat kids. The only frustrating thing is the state of monkey house. But the other areas are nice and a great way to spend a weekend day with a child

An unexpectedly large zoo, an impressive variety of animals, there is a part with a conditionally contact zoo where you can go with the kids to feed rabbits and goats. What surprised me was that some birds are walking next to their aviaries, I saw this for the first time. I attach a photo.
It is also incredibly cool that it is located in the center and on the territory of the park, next to a kind of cafe with a terrace.
I have only pleasant impressions

I feel sorry for the heat-loving birds, they freeze in cold cages, they should also be in a covered pavilion for the winter. The giraffe and elephant were not seen, perhaps they were already asleep in the afternoon. The zoo is an old one, dating back to the 30s, right next to the Kalemegdan fortress. It's a very nice zoo. Sometimes my friends say, why do you go to zoos, it's a children's topic? And I really love animals, although it's a pity to watch them in captivity. The zoo in Prague was certainly cooler, but the Belgrade Zoo bribed with its homeliness, proximity to the city and humanity. I didn't have time to take a picture, but the cleaners between the animals looked very organic. The animals are very well-fed and happy, and I hope they feel good there. A serious set of animals, including giraffes, lions, polar wolves, felines, not to mention birds and snakes. I recommend everyone to spend an hour or two in this oasis.

I really liked it! The animals are all well-groomed and beautiful. Almost everything is behind glass, so you can see it up close. The animals are diverse, settled by families. There are tigers, lions, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, penguins, bears and many, many others. We had a lot of fun!

It's a terrible sight. I have not seen such a deplorable state of animals for a long time. On the one hand, I regret that I sponsored this event, but on the other hand, I can tell you about it. I am generally against zoos and circuses with animals. But in most countries where I've been, zoos are like safaris, where animals live in conditions close to how they live in the wild. In this zoo, 90% of the animals look very bad, they are not treated and probably poorly fed. At least bears and raccoons are fed bread! I didn't even walk around half of the territory and decided to leave the zoo. I just couldn't stand the sight.

It's a good zoo.
The area is small, but there are a lot of different animals. And lions, and hippos, and a giraffe. There is also a free contact mini-zoo where you can pet dwarf goats. There is a playground, ice cream and pony rental. We spent a wonderful 3 hours with the child.

We went with my daughter (1 year and 3 months), I really liked it. It is convenient to drive with a stroller everywhere.
There are many animals in beautiful enclosures with waterfalls, different levels, reservoirs/pools.
The cost is adequate.

A wonderful zoo. Well-maintained, well-maintained, there are several cafes. Some of the aviaries are located on the territory of the ancient fortress: bears live there, in my opinion, a tiger and some ungulates native to Russia. A peacock, guinea fowl and some incredibly fashionable rooster are walking freely - how he walks! You'll admire it.
The animals are well-groomed and beautiful. The bear bows, the elephant nods and makes a leg, the yellow-blue macaws discuss something loudly, the dark green parrots are ready to be friends with everyone.
I remember a crowned pigeon, white lions and someone who looked like a wolverine. And penguins! How hilarious they are)

The zoo is located on the hilly terrain of an ancient fortress. Very beautiful. But there are many steps.
