Wat Rong Khun Buddhist Temple. The temple was completely restored with his own money by local artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, for him it is an offering to the Great Buddha. The construction plan is designed until 2070, there will be a center for Buddhist meditation and learning, an art gallery and a place for temple servants. Interestingly, large donations cannot be made (only up to 10 thousand baht), so that no one influences the creative process and dictates their terms. Heading to the temple over a bridge over a small lake, we go through a cycle of rebirth - a lot of outstretched hands, symbolizing excessive desires. To walk this path to happiness, we need to give up excesses, unnecessary desires, and overexcited states that we experience most of the time. From greed and lust, from everything base. Kinnari - half-human, half-bird - are placed next to the bridge. You can not go back, the movement on the bridge is only forward (the guards are watching this), which is also symbolic.: you evolve, passing through the lowest levels, purify yourself and rise higher, where there are already other qualitative emotions and states - this is the road to the Heavenly gates, Death and Rahu stand guard over them. You can also see meditating Buddha statues in front of the entrance to Ubosot (a majestic white building of Thai architecture). You can't take pictures inside. There are traditional Thai temple images, a Buddha statue and a monk who sits motionless in constant meditation. On the roof of the building, different animals represent their elements: elephant - earth, naga - water, swan's wings - air, lion's mane - fire. The white color is a symbol of the Buddha's purity, pure consciousness. There are also golden structures in the complex, this color symbolizes the human body, its desires, including material ones. You can buy a heart for 30 baht, write a wish and hang it on a wish tree, it will definitely come true. Every day they are removed and moved to another place, now the entire roof of the building, where the walking area and benches are located (where you can hide from the sun), consists of these desires - hearts, i.e. they are not thrown away, but immortalized on the structures of the complex; the hearts are made of special metal material to perform the functions of roofs. and the walls. We also left a piece of our love by writing wishes. Here, every detail has meaning and everything is saturated with love. For example, the cave, which is located near the temple. It is also a special place with a deep meaning, going through the path of purification through various desires and temptations, you go out to the Buddha, there is a spring in which we washed and thanked for the fact that such miracles are revealed to us. And the bells are nearby - the end of our magical journey to this divine temple of love, purification and blissful states. We celebrated our incredible day with delicious Thai dishes behind a very beautiful wooden statue.

It took us 13 hours to get from Bangkok by bus, but we didn't regret it!) It's an incredibly beautiful place. There is something to think about, to enjoy the beauty of the park and the temple. The description is superfluous here. You need to see with your own eyes. Photos and videos do not convey all the feelings, beauty, and thoughts at the time of visiting this place. The price for entrance tickets is 100 baht.

A very unusual and fascinating place is a must-visit) It seems to me that the north of Thailand is very underestimated, but in vain) There are unique places like this and you must definitely see with your own eyes.
