Bergamo is a great place to discover that you’re now in a nice place but disappointed on every little touch during your dinner… the atmosphere is nice a cozy to some extent, yet, the dishes are far from flexible - the burger came uncooked! Had to go wash my mouth, *the fillet minion was good,the wine was good and the Greek salad as well. the communication with the staff is really bad (even in Russian (their native language)) it seems as if you say 1 and they hear 11. The staff didn’t bother asking about our complaints offer any solution or compensation at all (not a single word) An example, the most simplest of pasta dishes is the Aglio Olio 🍝yet they still managed to get it wrong- apparently (even though several requests for a spicy dish were made and answered with ‘of course’) The dish came dull and without any peppers to begin with, and then came a non spicy oil next to it (supposedly spicy oil) Some other dishes that were shown on their instagram that actually made us come back here after over a year of skipping the restaurant… but guess what? The dishes aren’t available… a simple adjustment to their potatoes dish was answered with a hassle and no proper explanation for why it can’t happen… anyhow, better not to get your hopes up next time you’re arriving to Bergamo 👍🏼 (FYI, I used to love the place, and I hope it’ll someday change things up) Dinner for two with 2 glasses of wine ended up at 150$ came in hungry and positive left hungry and negative, way to go👍🏼 *** at the very end- they came with a box of chocolates as a compensation. ——————————- I couldn’t find a way to reply here to you (the restaurant(Bergamo)) I don’t know what kind of reply is that, I did not mention anything about any pork- that’s just showing me that you did not pay attention to my review and rather decided to hear only your staff’s half a version since there was probably some lack of understanding of the issue (which I already stated in the original review)… the burger was strictly alive in the inside (not cooked) (with no comment or question about its level of cooking beforehand….) your staff clearly does not communicate, I did not ask for chanterelles I was asking for some potatoes with mushrooms and onion if you’d like to get to the bottom of this, all communication were both in English and Russian which apparently wasn’t clear enough otherwise we would have avoided at least some of the misunderstandings of last night, as for your pasta, excuse me- if the waiter agreed not once but at least twice that it will be extremely spicy and when asked about putting anything on the side he then got answered with -‘ no, please cook the pasta with lots of peppers’ now I understand this might sound small or irrelevant but to have the dishes made not in the right way after going back and forth with the staff about it repeatedly, and after that not giving any solution even after that was mentioned kindly then that’s just strictly ignoring your clients. I am again very sorry about the fact that once a great restaurant had become so ignorant instead of coming forward and perhaps have the staff members in better coordination with the kitchen and the clients you’re choosing to make it seems like it’s all just a little miscommunication. Anyhow, I wish you and your staff a great weekend, and hopefully Bergamo will be great again sometime soon.

The food, the place, the music - totally amazing. the waiters - not quite up to that level. Ive been here many times, and last night was the first time I wasn't happy. I hope it was just a one-off case
