The version with kazy (horse sausage), quail egg, and achuchuk salad is especially recommended. Fresh bread and tea are served instantly. The interior is cozy, with both indoor seating and an open-air terrace. Despite the crowds, the table turnover is quick and service is well organized. It’s great for tourists and locals alike — a real Uzbek experience at reasonable prices. It can get a bit noisy during peak hours, but the atmosphere is lively and authentic. It has always been my best loved traditional plov center in Tashkent at a very reasonable price. The quality remains high. Staff is serving very fast. The kitchen is open for visiting to observe the cooking process, attracting tourists. The hall is decorated in Uzbek stile.

I recently visited Besh Qozon in Tashkent, and honestly, it seems to have become far too touristy lately—the place is packed, and the hectic vibe takes away from what should be a relaxed meal. Of the four types of plov they serve, only two actually live up to the hype, while the others are rather underwhelming, and oddly enough, the better ones aren’t even available most of the time. If you’re after an authentic plov experience, you might end up a bit disappointed, despite the lively environment and big crowds. I’d recommend trying your luck here only if you don’t mind the chaos and are fine with limited tasty options.
