I ordered Animonda brand dog cans from Beta Aquarium Petshop in Küçükçekmece via Getir. When the product arrived, the lid of the can was rusty. I immediately reported the situation by calling, but the person on the phone — the business owner — behaved in an extremely rude, accusatory and threatening manner. When I went to the store, the same person spoke sarcastically this time and said, “Create a refund from the Internet,” then tried to wipe the rusty can with a wet wipe. Then he called the police, and when the police came, he took the product and put it back on the shelves. This business is completely insensitive to both customer satisfaction and animal health. I think everyone should be very careful about places like this.

on 01.11.2025, I ordered Animonda brand dog cans for about 1500 TL from Beta Akvariyum Petshop located in Küçükçekmece via the Getir application. When the order came, I noticed that the lid of the can was rusted halfway down. The product had the phrase “29.08.27 hhd” on it. I immediately reported the situation to petshop by phone. While waiting to be helped, the person on the phone — who I later found out was the owner of the business — spoke with an extremely harsh and accusatory attitude. He tried to withdraw himself from the business by throwing the responsibility to the supplier. And I quite rightly said, "If it were you, would you open a rusty can and eat it?I said. Thereupon, he took a threatening attitude by telling me ”I am recording the conversation". So I went to the store. I waited out of respect because there was a customer inside, and when the customer came out, I explained the situation again. But this time the same person again, i.e. the business owner, sarcastically said, “Then create a refund from the Internet.” Moreover, he took the can in his hand and tried to wipe off the rust with a wet wipe! I mean, I've personally seen them try to clean up rusty cans and resell them. Even more incredibly, the same person called the police this time. When the police arrived, his attitude changed completely in an instant; he suddenly relented and took the rusty product out of my hand and put it back among the other products on the shelves. Dec. This is the first time I have come across a business that is so disrespectful, irresponsible and disregards animal health. Moreover, all of these behaviors came from the business owner. There is no customer satisfaction, no sense of ethics. I want everyone to be very careful about places like this that play with the health of our animals.
