Very good place, 10/10 it’s actually BC 1st century fortress! I highly recommend to visit this place.

The Bjni fortress is located high on the mountain, where it takes 15 minutes to climb on foot.
You can try on a passenger car, but it's better on something tall, for example, on a donkey)) A part of the wall and an underground passage from the 10th century fortress are well preserved. You will also see an ancient cellar, the foundation of a church, the ruins of a tower gate and a partially restored palace building made of colorful stones. The Bjni fortress has long been an important structure for protecting residents from enemies. But a much better defense is indicated in the Bible: "The true God is my reliable fortress. He will make my path straight" (2 Samuel 22:33). On the territory there is a picturesque tree and a bench overlooking the beautiful mountains to sit and admire in peace.

It is beautiful, fragrant smells of herbs, a beautiful viewing platform. At the entrance there is a small tent-shop with water, morodenka, chips. Take a walk, see a new place, show off-that's IT!

You can get into the fortress only by going around it on the RIGHT. 15 minutes on foot or by car. Entrance is paid. There is almost nothing left of the buildings. Part of the lower tier of the wall has been restored. It is better visible from below if you go around the fortress on the left. There's not much to see. There is an underground passage, but you need to go down very carefully.
The views of the surrounding area are very beautiful. You can't stop wondering at the sagacity of the rulers of those times. They were able to choose places for settlements and fortresses. On two sides there were steep cliffs, on the third they built a high impregnable fortress wall.
The Arzakan-Bjni-Akhpyurak-Hrazdan road itself is very picturesque. The beautiful Hrazdan gorge is worthy of attention in spring and autumn.

There is absolutely nothing to see, as a tourist place it does not represent anything, the foundation of one building, one descent into a cave that has almost no steps, you can only walk along the paths. And all this mess is still for your money. If you want to see the real remains of the fortress, go to Amberd, do not waste your time

Beautiful views, an underground passage-staircase is being restored. It makes sense to go if you are vacationing in Tsakhkadzor or have already visited other iconic places of Armenia

Крепость Бжни
"Портит"
Вода Бжни.
Все думают ..да ладно вася ,чо там может быть такое....
Там токо минералка да.....
Но
Это надо видеть
Огромная скала ,с одним подходом
И вверху крепость ...
Камера и мой литературный запас
Не передаст...всего
Но мощг мой чуть не лопнул ...
И

Чисто. Ухоженно. Можно полежать на травке. Отдохнуть на скамейке под кроной дерева Провели нам миниэкскурсию. Село Бжни видно как на ладони.

Дорога к крепости отвратительная. Могли бы и сделать асфальтироаанную дорогу, чтобы люди могли подъезжать туда нормально!!!

Спешите пока это место не раскрутили. Тихо, красиво и т.д. Этакий мини затерянный город. Обязательно зайдите в гоначрную мастерскую. Ну и не забудьте попить минералки.
