I am a guest from Moscow. I visited the Borani restaurant on December 6, 2024. A meeting with a classmate took place here, the hall was cleaned for the New Year, the waiters were polite and the order was made quickly, I especially liked the lula kebab, juicy meat + French fries, tomato and hot pepper on the grill, sauces, very tasty bread, cocktail. You will want to return to such a cozy restaurant more than once.

It's a great restaurant, and there's a queue of locals at the entrance. We followed the recommendation, and we didn't regret it. Delicious, plentiful, decent. The receipt is slightly above average. I recommend it!

We went to this restaurant twice. I liked everything very much. The only thing is that the menu is only in Azerbaijani. But everything is with pictures, so with the help of the staff, we figured it out. As it is, it's a great place.

There is a very large selection of meat dishes . It is convenient to sit on soft sofas at any time of the day and in the morning for a delicious breakfast and in the evening for a meeting or event. We visited every day during the week-long trip to Baku , tried almost everything , I recommend you to visit .

This is the first time the Azerbaijani cuisine of Baku got to know me. To get to know me, she chose chicken fillet under a cheese and mushroom pillow and a mix of beef and pork kebab. We were in September 2024. I praised this restaurant to my mother and daughter, and they got poisoned there. I was lucky, I didn't eat chicken meat. Compared to last year, the quality of food has noticeably deteriorated. My review is more for tourists. I don't think the restaurant administration will read it.

Delicious pizza, tauk, and salads. Live guitar singing. The only thing that suffers is the service, some dishes are cooked for a very long time. there are a lot of visitors, there are few waiters and they do not have time. And yes, the menu is only in Azerbaijani.
Russian russians are just falling off, who whine and count as a minus the fact that the waiters do not speak Russian. Do you forget that you are not at home, but in another country where no one is obliged to know their language and Russian??? The younger generation is even more likely to not speak Russian with 90% probability!

The restaurant is ordinary, packed with locals, they go there to celebrate, smoke hookah, listen to live music in the evening. The waiters do not understand both Russian and English well, but they try their best. The service is fast. The kitchen sucks, it's more like fast food. National dishes float in vegetable oil, the meat is stale. That's probably why the prices are so cheap.

The most terrible place in Baku!
We came with friends in the evening, at the entrance we asked for the waiting time for dishes, the hostesses answered 15 minutes. We sat down, chose the dishes, the waiter said the wait was 10 minutes. As a result, the wait was 40 minutes! although we ordered 4 identical dishes.
We took a hookah, the usual one for 25 manats, they brought us a burnt one, we immediately said so. The staff was aggressive, they replied that the hookah is OK, it's just not premium tobacco.
When the receipt was brought, premium tobacco for 35 manats was punched in the receipt, the administrator was called again, he again sided with the staff that the hookah was premium.
In general, I do not advise anyone.
