I realized at first glance that I was one of the second ones. The only joy on this vacation was our hotel, without exaggeration - it is an oasis of life and beauty. The vast territory is essentially a large botanical garden where you can walk every day: giant schefflers, blooming jasmine trees, palm trees. A clean beach, which is cleaned daily by the hotel staff. Several pools. Comfortable rooms, including those with sea views. Delicious food. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach and a place for daily outdoor massage. If I ever go back to Thailand, it will be to Botany Beach.

We had a rest here 2 years ago, everything was great. Now the hotel has lost ground, although it has added +1 star.… The beach disappointed me the most. There are not enough sun beds, everything is occupied from 5-6 in the morning. By 7 a.m., there are no more places on the beach. There are vacationers who throw off towels and take seats, rude attitude. The sea is muddy, it smells strongly of algae, mud on the shore (bottles, plastic, bags, etc.) The water in the pool is like in a font, which is amazing for the end of November. Even the children say they're cold. I go swimming at a nearby hotel for an additional fee… Beach towels are not changed, as they were given at check-in, and lie on it for 14 days. Breakfast has become very meager, everything is cold. The food is delivered to the hotel ready-made and not heated. On weekends, crowds of Chinese people come, jump all over the hotel, take pictures, and shoot tiktoks. The cafe and bar are 100% occupied by them. There's no room for lunch. I am very disappointed with the hotel.

Our room was a bungalow, the audibility through the wall to the neighbors is very good (the bungalow itself is old, the plumbing is old, there are few outlets and everything is in uncomfortable places, squirrels frolic under the roof in the evenings. Cleaning is carried out daily, 2 bottles of water are brought, bathroom accessories, towels are changed regularly. The breakfasts are poor, but you won't stay hungry. Our compatriots, who are older, take up sun beds already at 5-6 o'clock in the morning, and it was not always possible to find good places. A lot of Thais come for the weekend and there may not even be enough sun beds. The sea is clear in the morning and without waves, the wind starts around 13 o'clock and the waves increase, and accordingly mud appears on the beach. Lunches and dinners, the hotel has its own restaurant, the Good Old Sea, the prices there are 1.5-2 times higher than the street, one dish in it costs 300 baht. There is a 7/11 shop next to the hotel, and there is also a Thai Food restaurant, where prices are much lower, on average one dish is 200 baht, and if you go further to the above-ground pedestrian crossing, there is already a larger selection of restaurants where one dish is on average 150 baht. There is also an exchanger with a good exchange rate, so do not rush to change money at the airport, it is very unprofitable. Overall a good hotel)

The closet door wouldn't hold in the room, the water was either cold or hot in the shower, and I had to wash in several steps, waiting for the transition from hot to cold. The hair dryer also got tired after 2 minutes and required a break of 5 minutes, my haircut was laid in 5 steps, But somehow I took it calmly and rested, and did not worry my nerves. After walking around the territory, we realized that we were lucky with the number and location of the building, not the villa. The villa I would like to visit was the only one in the entire hotel. A construction site towered over the villas and bungalows with a roar and cement dust in the air (it's a fish by the pool), maybe someone doesn't react, but I'm a sniffer, so I would definitely suffer. We lived near the reception and the restaurant, it was convenient, and the sea was nearby. The food is typical for Thailand, the cooking quality is not great, but there is enough for breakfast: soup, boiled egg, fried, sausages, ham, rice, fruits, Asian dishes. There's nothing to admire, but you can eat. The sea is nearby, a cafe on the shore, the prices are adequate, but if you need it cheaper, you can take a walk. There is a marina with yachts and a park next to the hotel, around the lake, walk and enjoy, and there is also a pier in the sea about a kilometer in one direction.In short, the location of the hotel is not bad, but there is one thing - it's the sea.We have been to Thailand for the 12th time, 11 of them were in Phuket and this is the first time in Pattaya. The visitors are mostly 50+ or families with children - there are no drunken scandals. Cafes, small street restaurants and shops are within walking distance. You can get to Pattaya for a penny, even by taxi (via Bolt), even on local minibuses. To be honest, the rooms are tired - there's nothing wrong with a native score, but after 3-4 stars in Europe, Africa or the East, Botany rooms can be a little frustrating. They are clean, they smell delicious, the air conditioner is working, the shower and toilet are in order, but there is nothing pleasing to the eye except the view outside the window. You need to be prepared for this in order not to be disappointed. Many people come back here, some 5 and 6 times. In general, it is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday, and as a "base" for trips on excursions.

The breakfasts are meager, you won't stay hungry, but you won't eat well. Fortunately, the situation is fixable thanks to the merchants on the beach. They sell all kinds of food there: shrimp, fish, corn, a lot of fruits. In the evening, you can go to restaurants for dinner, although they are located a little far away, but walking is not a problem. The most decent restaurant is Salatai, the average check for three is 1,500 baht. In general, if you don't focus on the poor breakfast and tired rooms, everything is quite bearable.

It's a long way from the center, but there's no problem getting there by tuk-tuk or taxi. The breakfasts were monotonous, and we didn't stay hungry.In general, the hotel is good if there are no quibbles. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We communicated through a translator. On weekends, weddings are sometimes held on site, but this does not bother tourists. Nearby there is a pier bay with yachts, speedboats, boats you can sail wherever you want. The rooms are old, there was a double room with full beds, but the extra bed is terrible, the bed is made of a board on two rusty legs, the mattress is terrible, I asked to replace it. We were at this hotel with my husband for the first time, after the Ambassador we were very afraid to be disappointed. I really liked the hotel, it was so cozy and green. The beach and the entire area are cleaned daily. The breakfasts are varied, fruits, juices, everything is delicious. The rooms are a little tired, but everything works, everything is comfortable, the balcony is small, you could see a little bit of the sea. In the morning you open the glass doors of the balcony, and there the birds are singing... wow. The room is cleaned daily, always at a convenient time. What I really liked: you can swim in the pool late at night and even at night, treatment once a week (like on Monday), went to bed at 22:00, just super; WF everywhere and on the beach. We went to dinner on Gluttony Street to Tui, a little far 900 meters, but the traffic is also good, in the evening we returned along the sea. A beautiful courtyard, fish like mini sharks and a whole farm of turtles, large, medium and small in the fence, just a kindergarten, walking in a circle. Very positive.I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. We'll come again.

It was fixed by morning, thank God. There is no hot water, it is cold all the time, it is not possible to wash. The breakfasts are just terrible, I've never seen worse, cold scrambled eggs and a poor choice, we brought our own food and just drank coffee with sandwiches from 7/11. By the way, they speak Russian decently (compared to most hotel employees), they sell money in a friendly way, entering into the naked position of vacationers. The hotel staff is friendly, although they are laconic (both in Russian and English). Their benevolence is not always identical to their diligence. Once at the reception they complained that at night a monitor lizard crawls into our bathroom from a hole under the roots of a decent-sized tree growing in the bathroom to inspect the trash can and toiletries. This topic aroused the genuine interest of the staff around us. They asked with childish joy about the coloring of the animal and, showing pictures on a smartphone, asked if we were confusing it with a mouse or a gecko. Our response that the reptile was brightly striped, about a meter long, invariably caused smiles and laughter (like, wow, not all guests are so lucky) and assurances that, of course, this inconvenience will be eliminated immediately. Everything would be fine, but there is only one road – along the expressway. And it would have been nothing if the sidewalks hadn't been dug up in a rush of unhurried landscaping, and half the way had to be overcome along the autobahn in a single family with cars and scooters. In addition, the road has no attractions, unless you include whole dead neighborhoods with colorful advertising lights on closed shops, cafes, etc. After the coronavirus pandemic, most entrepreneurs have not been able to rise. The same gloomy impression is made by the huge 30-40-storey buildings of hotels and apartments, in which no more than 5-10 apartments glow in the evenings. The room is very modest in size, the child was put on a small cot, there were no blankets and a duvet cover in size, they put a blanket between two sheets, which is not very convenient, of course. Bed linen and towels are also not the first freshness, there was often a flaw, the local staff also had a problem with the oral account, three people put small towels from 1 to 4, the logic remained unclear. There were also 2 glasses and mugs, the availability of additional space is not taken into account in this matter. The room is quite dark, the lamps illuminate only themselves, plus light from 4 small windows, two of which overlook the neighboring villa. I was surprised by the complete absence of tea and coffee in the presence of a kettle (it is strictly forbidden to take it out of the restaurant, it says a fine of 500 baht). A TV deserves special attention - a pot-bellied one with analog channels (the Russian one was found on the penultimate day), which turns off at its own discretion. The bathroom surprised with its scale, large with palm trees inside, not completely closed from the environment (the polycarbonate roof is open on both sides, i.e. the temperature is both outside and day and night. Many wrote about "guests" from the wild, someone even about a monitor lizard, fortunately, I did not meet anyone except mosquitoes, which really flew in also because of the presence of a certain "reservoir" with numerous tadpoles to the left of the terrace. Therefore, the bathroom door had to be tightly closed every time. The lighting is also at the level of semi-darkness, almost nothing is visible in the shower in the evening. And yes, but this is my personal thing, in the evening and at night, it's better to stomp at the entrance, from uninvited guests. Cleaning, as everywhere in Thailand, mainly place dust in the corners, trim the beds and change towels. I'm going with microfiber cloths and laundry soap. Half an hour at check-in and you can exist quite calmly. Now about the restaurant, many wrote about single-phase meals, we still noticed a small rotation of dishes, although the number of dishes offered was the most meager in the entire history of our travels in Thailand - unchanged rice, sausages, ham, fried eggs, boiled egg, lettuce leaves, pepper, onion, two types of cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes. Chicken with ginger and curry, steamed vegetables, fried noodles, and two soups were exchanged. Watermelon and pineapple fruits, there was not even a traditional fruit salad made of papaya and pitahaya. 2 types of bread, sandwich rolls, cereals, jam, tea and coffee. We installed a coffee machine, there's a queue right next to it, you need to stand, but the coffee is quite tolerable. It was not very pleasant that next to the place where coffee is made, dishes are cleaned of food residues, it would still be worth removing it from the eyes of the guests, but this is my personal. There is no wifi in the room at all, although the router was hanging at the entrance (it is better to buy a local SIM). I took off one star for all of the above. Now for the good: a hotel in traditional Thai style, with two three-storey buildings, bungalows (located closer to the beach), and villas (further from the beach, but its own compact secluded area) a pool with hydro massage surrounded by vegetation, sun beds, umbrellas, recreation areas for a large company (from our room the pool is located two meters) and this is a big plus. Special attention should be paid to the turtles in the reception area, which you can contact. There is a large swimming pool closer to the beach. The territory of the hotel is beautiful, well-groomed, photogenic, the beach can be called secluded, it is looked after, the sand is smoothed in the morning. There are few sun loungers, we did not use them, we laid a mat closer to the sea. As always, there are fans of "booking" deck chairs, throwing things on and leaving for half a day. I was surprised by the sea, with its purity and transparency of the water (approximately going up to the waist, you could see a pedicure), we rested earlier about a kilometer from this tunnel towards the city, we have not seen such water more than once. Another advantage is the round-the-clock operation of the pool, although it was not illuminated, but this did not stop many guests. I can't say much about the staff, I didn't have to contact them, except for breakfast in connection with an early departure for an excursion. Breakfast is quite good - a sandwich with ham and cheese, coffee in a jar and orange juice. The hotel is far enough from "civilization", but when leaving the hotel about two hundred meters on the left side there is a good cafe, prices are almost like on the market, and it is quite clean and pleasant, and across the street there is a parking complex, there is a supermarket (alcohol is not sold in it), kfc, pizzeria, coffee shop, pharmacy and several shops with local food. You can't buy fruits there and there is no exchanger, but you can go if you don't want to go far. In general, I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday, who does not need all this Thai traffic and it is important to have a beach at the hotel, because swimming is quite pleasant.

It takes 20 minutes to get to the center by taxi, or to the Lotus - there are also a lot of places to buy groceries!!! But to wander around in the heat every day and warm your head with what to feed the children is such a quest and pleasure!!! Excursions are also price tags mama mia aquapark 1700 baht on Russian Russians paid 6,800 baht for 1 person, 20,000 thousand rubles for Russian money, and another 2 thousand baht for 6 thousand Russians to eat there!!! And so about everything ! Military beach, koh lan ,Nong nooch - go yourself / don't overpay the guides!!! In general, I will say this -there is something to compare it with— Unjustifiably expensive -it's not worth the money !!!
