The Peace Bridge is one of those structures that are magnificent in themselves, but in the context, "inside" the city may raise questions or even confusion among some of its residents and guests. Personally, I've always liked the bridge. He is surprisingly graceful and airy. He is beautiful from afar, up close, and inside. And, importantly, as a tourist, I don't have the feeling that it somehow interferes with Tbilisi architecture. But I read that such a point of view was voiced. I don't know, in the end, you won't please everyone... Inside the bridge, everyone is constantly taking pictures and making videos; sometimes they make clips/movies (at least they bring more serious cameras and lights). The bridge, of course, is free; nearby is the Metekhi district (the oldest district of the city), where you can go for a walk. It's nice there; there are several restaurants with stunning views of Kura. A nice, interesting architectural object; one of the bright new sights of Tbilisi.

He hovers over the Chicken like a crystal harp. The Peace Bridge is not just a way to cross a river, it is an elegant touch of modernity on the ancient face of Tbilisi. You walk along it during the day and see the reflection in the glass — the old town, Narikala fortress, floating clouds. At night, it transforms into a magical portal, when thousands of LED bulbs light up like a scattering of stars. Symbolic and beautiful. A real architectural poem written with light and glass.

The Bridge of Peace in Tbilisi is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Its modern design and stunning view over the Kura River are truly impressive, especially when illuminated at night. The bridge connects two worlds — the old city and the modern Rike Park, which features a children’s playground and a cable car station leading up to Narikala Fortress and the Mother of Georgia statue. Still, I wish this bridge would become a true symbol of peace, not just a popular spot for photos and a brief 15-minute boat ride on the river. The bridge is almost always crowded with tourists, making it hard to feel the calm and harmony that its name suggests. The Peace Bridge in Tbilisi is one of the most recognizable places in the city. Its modern architecture and the view of the Kura River are really impressive, especially in the evening lighting. The bridge connects two eras: old Tbilisi and modern Rike Park, where there is a playground for children and a funicular station leading to the Narikala Fortress and the statue of Mother Georgia. However, I would like this bridge to become a real symbol of peace, and not just a tourist destination for photos against the background of the river and a short 15-minute walk on the water. Today, the bridge is almost always filled with tourists, and it is rare to experience the calm atmosphere that its name promises.

We were in Tbilisi last year, and the Bridge of Peace still stands before our eyes. It's like he's from the future - light, transparent, full of curves of light. It glitters in the sun during the day, lights up in the evening and is reflected in the river - it is simply fascinating. Of course, there are a lot of tourists, everyone is taking pictures, laughing, buzzing in all languages, but this also has its own atmosphere. I was standing in the middle of the bridge, looking down at the water and thinking how beautifully old and new can connect. I really liked it, honestly - one of the most vivid impressions of the trip.

The glass suspension bridge fits perfectly into the old part of the city. Beautiful place, beautiful views. A lot of boats cruising along the river create an atmosphere of peace. You can look at them for a long time from the bridge, enjoying the atmosphere ... if it weren't for the annoying barkers ... well, where without them

It's an interesting, modern building, and it's good to take photos and selfies on it. It is beautifully illuminated at night. There are street musicians playing on the bridge, and there are always a lot of tourists.

I came to see the Crystal Bridge again this year) yes, I know it's called the Bridge of Peace, but that's the point, PEACE is the most fragile thing there is right now. Many years later, the architectural thought and execution pleased me as an artist. These contradictory feelings are massive metal frame structures and a glass dome, a symphony of solid and fragile, straight and graceful curves. In general, it is absolutely necessary to visit) As a bonus, a walk through the wonderful park and the mysterious Rike Theater with a vivid and dramatic past, but that's another story.

In my opinion, the most recognizable object of modern Tbilisi. A beautiful pedestrian bridge over the Kura River, which connects the center and Rike Park. Despite the fact that not all residents of the city like the design, it is successful for me. The bridge looks airy and its appearance is memorable.

It's a beautiful art object, you can stand up and take beautiful photos. The only thing spoiling the place is the huge number of barkers on the boats that approach you at every turn.

The modern design of the bridge stands out strongly against the background of the historical architecture of the Old City of Tbilisi, which arouses a steady interest among tourists. The bridge is pedestrian and connects the two parts of the city across the Kura River. On one side is Old Tbilisi and Irakli II St., on the other is Rike Park in Avlabar, the authorities wanted to show how traditions harmonize with innovations, "The Bridge of Peace is a dialogue between the past and the future," as Saakashvili said. The bridge looks especially attractive at night, thanks to the incredible illumination, 30,000 computer-controlled LED lamps light up on the bridge every evening. They transmit a message in Morse code — this is the periodic table of elements, a symbol of scientific progress. It not only creates beauty, but also transmits messages encrypted using Morse code. The point is that despite the differences in peoples, races, and cultures, all people are made up of the same chemical elements. This means that everyone is united, and there should be peace between people, hence the name – the Bridge of Peace. It is very unusual to be on the bridge, just in the middle it even feels like it sways from the movement of people, who are always enough on it. It is interesting to visit such a modern bridge.

If you get to the evening performance of street musicians on the bridge, then be sure that the evening was a success! We were lucky enough to meet a singing guitarist and sit here for more than two hours, enjoying the wonderful performance of world hits. But why just sit there? Surely someone had to start dancing to set the audience on fire?! 😉

Friends, an amazing corner of our planet is the Caucasus, with wonderful positive, friendly, hospitable people. This is my first time in Tbilisi and the Central Caucasus in general, and I realized that this place on our planet can be visited endlessly... Vineyard plantations, wine production, home—made cheese factories, ancient monasteries, kind huge dogs, but the main thing is the Georgian military road and its locations, and, of course, Georgian wines! The Peace Bridge in Tbilisi and the viewing platforms are the "pearl placer" of the Caucasus. I am sure that relations between the peoples of the USSR will be established, based on mutual relations, understanding, and respect. The peoples of our countries are deeply interested in each other's lives and development, which is a good incentive for deeper communication.

Undoubtedly, the glass bridge is one of the main attractions of the capital of Georgia. Although it is a modern bridge, it is very beautifully integrated into the continuation of the old streets of Tbilisi. You can also take a boat ride with a sightseeing tour and sail in a hot air balloon over the river and the bridge and admire such incredible beauty.

We celebrated the New Year there! It was super cool! It was emotional, positive, joyful, unusual, magical, unifying...! There were a lot of people on the bridge, everyone was counting down, then fireworks from all sides (I've never seen so many of them in my life), congratulations from strangers! Words cannot convey all my emotions 🥰 I liked it very much! This bridge is like my own bridge now.

A very interesting bridge. The business card of Tbilisi. Unusual. It's kind of a boulevard across the river for walking. There street musicians sing, balloons fly over the river, sightseeing boats float. All this at any time of the day. Be sure to walk along the "Bridge of Peace" made of glass and steel over the Mtkvari River (Kura), one of the sights of Tbilisi. The bridge was opened in May 2010, previously brought to Georgia from Italy in disassembled form from 200 components. The architect of the bridge is the Italian Michele de Lucchi, who previously built the Avlabar residence and the scandalous glass building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
