An excellent Jesuit college. The architecture and interior are very beautiful. The establishment of the Jesuit Order, which existed in Orsha in 1612-1820. In 1812, Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte of France was quartered in the collegium, retreating from Moscow. The order was finally banned in the Russian Empire by Alexander I in 1820. All Jesuit property was subject to confiscation. Later, the collegium building was turned into a prison castle and existed in this capacity until the end of the 1980s. Further, the building was restored and additional elements and a clock tower were added.

A small interesting museum. I visited the museum in January 2025. I managed to see 2 halls and 2 exhibitions of paintings in the corridor. I liked the history room and the temporary Adam and Eve exhibition, as well as an exhibition of paintings for the visually impaired. The museum and the cloakroom are staffed by polite, helpful staff.

The Orsha Jesuit Collegium was an institution of the Jesuit Order that existed in Orsha in 1612-1820. The Collegium was built with permission and on lands donated by King Sigismund III Vasa of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and has long been a center of educational and missionary activities. A large number of famous people stayed at the collegium, as the Emperor of France spent the night here during the war of 1812. Currently, the college building houses the V. Korotkevich Children's library and an art gallery with an exhibition hall. It's a great place to see him.
