Can be dirty on the crowded days. I will never understand people who leave their garbage behind

When we arrived in Istanbul, we knew that this was not a beach holiday. But I really wanted to visit the sea. It took a long time to choose the beach according to reviews. We decided to go to this beach. We were in September 2025. First of all, the local Turks said that the season was already closed. But you can take a sunbed and an umbrella. Secondly, we were practically alone on the beach, we spent about 3 hours there and there were at most 10 people on the whole beach. Unfortunately, it is impossible to say that the beach is perfectly clean. But this is a free city beach where umbrellas and sun beds are provided. The water is perfectly clear, there are showers, there is a place for changing clothes, there are a lot of trash cans on the beach.

It's a good place! View of the Princes' Islands. If you want to swim in the open sea, and not in a bay fenced with buoys, then you can go to the embankment and carefully descend the breakwaters.
