On the first day in Samarkand, we wanted to have dinner at an Uzbek cuisine restaurant, but they refused to serve us at 2 popular restaurants with high ratings, referring to a full reservation. Fortunately, Sogdiana was there. Everything was at the highest level. The food, the service, the atmosphere. You always expect a trick with the "Italian" positioning in the national flavor, but everything was honest here, almost like in Italy or in good Moscow restaurants. There was one exception - pizza. You don't need to order it there.

And I do not advise you to take chikinburer, chicken cutlets in cream sauce, medals. Chikinburer and chicken cutlets in cream sauce, the disadvantage is that both there and here are the same cutlets and plus dry and tasteless. And the medals are just meat without seasoning and without taste.

The food is delicious, the garden is pleasant. However, the staff spoils the whole impression. The first and only time inhospitality was shown in Uzbekistan. We ordered a lot of dishes and asked the waiter to cut us a melon. At the bazaar, we bought a variety that can only be tried in Uzbekistan because we do not tolerate transportation. But the waiter refused to do it, said that it was not allowed in the restaurant. I didn 't have to nuance for us to try this melon at lunch . I had to carry it with me until the evening on all excursions. But they cut it up for dinner and even served it beautifully in a nearby restaurant. What I will write about in my review.

We had lunch with the family and children. Cafe with a variety, including European cuisine. We took a little break from traditional Uzbek dishes :) The kids asked for hamburgers. They brought me just a huge khachapuri in Adjarian, my wife tried green pasta. Everything is very tasty. The price tag is above average, but it's worth it.
Clean, there is a fountain inside, a cage with birds and rabbits. The cafe is far from the road, so it's quiet.

Great cafe. Delicious European cuisine. If there is pumpkin soup on the menu, then I usually take it to the cafe for a taste and if it is delicious, then usually everything else is delicious. Here he is very good for my taste. Sweet and creamy. With pumpkin seeds and, unusually, ricotta cheese. I'm trying it with cheese for the first time. I specifically asked to bring the seeds and cheese separately to try the soup without everything. My daughter even ate soup, although she usually doesn't eat it. For me, this is an indicator. Everything else I tried there was also delicious - pasta, chicken dishes, various teas, cocoa with marshmallows. There are children's dishes such as mashed potatoes with chicken cutlets. My daughter also ground it.
The interior is pleasant, the music is calm, after 18 o'clock in the warm season, live music plays on the outdoor veranda and there are tables. In winter, live music in the evenings inside. If it weren't for the higher prices relative to other establishments, it would generally be fine and it would be possible to go more often. But as it is ((You have to pay for the taste, quality and place in central Park.

A fair assessment.
The local cuisine is great, but I don't eat meat and literally suffer in Uzbekistan from a lack of places where there is something other than tomatoes for me.
The staff is very unhurried and I went for the menu myself, it's not difficult for me 😄
But for coconut coffee, cheesecakes with orange peel, croissants, I will definitely come here from Russia again.
