But one dish was great: beef tongue. This dish deserves special praise: soft, delicious, with herbal sauce. We ate several times, but each time there was no dish from the selected ones. The stop list is not announced in advance. Cocktails are heartily alcoholic. The waiter is tired all the time. The establishment is not bad, but not as a permanent option.

We went to a cafe after watching the 4.9 rating. It's not clear why, as it turned out. Noodle soup with the addition of stock cubes, chicken fillet so overcooked that it became rubbery, chicken patty is clearly store-bought, it is not possible to eat. The potatoes are not cooked in the beef pan. There are mushrooms in the mushroom soup, but it tastes like cream. The only thing I liked was the French fries. I'll give you one star for that alone. We waited all this for 20-30 minutes.

The service turned out to be terrible, the waiter misled us and brought us another drink, referring to the fact that the one that is not on the menu. The meat pan was disgusting, it was written on the menu that beef, in fact, very fatty meat was brought, some pieces were just made of fat. One dish from the order was not brought at all, although they wanted to include it in the bill, they had to indicate it separately. Of the advantages, only the beautiful view and the grasshoppers that fall on your heads. I definitely do not recommend it, it feels like the worst cafe in the whole city.

Buckwheat porridge - bare sugar, could not eat, remained untouched. Pancakes are raw, they did not eat. Cheesecakes - spread, raw cottage cheese. They did not spoil their mood, they did not make any comments, they paid in full. Despite the fact that there was porridge and pancakes on the table, we were not interested in what was wrong. I don't know about the hotel, but I don't recommend the cafe.

One of the most terrible establishments I've been to. (07/15/2023 evening) After a long walk around New Athos, we decided to have a snack at this "cafe", if you can call it that. The place was empty, which was already alarming, but we sat down at the table, the waiter came up to us and casually gave us the menu as if we had come to his house. After that, he accepted the order, having previously said that half of the menu was not available ... then the most interesting thing. After waiting for some time, he brought a dish: "frying in a frying pan" about which a little later, and a few minutes later a pizza. When the waiter began to arrange pizza plates for everyone individually, he knocked over a glass of lemonade, quickly wiped it with a napkin, and then with a rag and did not even apologize (wiped so that the table became wet all over, and did not even touch the puddle on the floor). Now about the quality of the dishes: the meat, or rather beef, was disgusting, rubbery and obviously not the first freshness, eventually potatoes and mushrooms were eaten; Pizza was made for a long time, considering that we were alone in the institution, hoping that at least it would be delicious, well, it wasn't there ... pizza is just a hodgepodge from what was in the kitchen, well, or most likely a pizza for 100 rubles from the nearest store, heated in a microwave oven. And the cherry on the cake was when we asked to wrap the rest of the pizza with us, so that we could at least feed the dogs, if they eat that, of course... the waiter just threw the container with the package on our table and left. That's how we brightened up the evening in New Athos.

We stopped in New Athos for half a day. After a morning walk to the fortress, I really wanted to eat in the cool. We chose a cafe based on reviews and location. Pros: there is air conditioning, a decent toilet, clean, acceptable service, there are almost no visitors at 13.00. Cons: a meager menu, it's easy to get on the stop list, the price of the dishes does not match their quality, the usual salad of cucumbers and tomatoes 300p is just chopped vegetables, the "Greek" salad is the same, only MELTED cheese or something like 350p is added. The kebab is extremely strange, at first I thought it was some kind of semi-finished product, but then I realized that the dish was WARMED UP, and not cooked on the grill to order, I do not remember the cost. Tomato sauce 100p regular. Homemade lemonade 350p liter is so-so, but you can drink it. 10% maintenance. It was the most expensive meal in Abkhazia. There were places cheaper and much tastier. Put such a price tag on top of the service, so at least match the kitchen.
