Kafer Agha Medresesi is a quiet courtyard at the end of an alley, near St. Sophia, with a cozy and colorful cafe. The Madrasah (Theological University) was built in 1559, during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, by the great Turkish architect Sinan. 🏛️Having undergone a number of restorations, in 1989 it was transformed into a tourist center with exhibition halls, a large salon and a garden where traditional Turkish crafts are presented. 🏯Go around the Hagia Sophia on the left, and walk up the alley. On the left, in a small opening between the houses, you will see a stone staircase leading down to the gate. This is the entrance to the courtyard where the cafe is located. At the entrance, pay attention to the bust of Sinan. The former classrooms, located on two sides, feature a variety of handicrafts, including jewelry, silk, ceramics and calligraphy. The restaurant's menu is unlikely to surprise you with its variety, the usual Turkish dishes, unfortunately, are not of the best quality. But it will be nice to come in for a rest and sit with a cup of tea in such a place.

It is located in the courtyard, so it is difficult to find. It's atmospheric inside.
