An excellent city cafe with fast service and a clear menu. The waffles are really delicious, there are plenty for everyone. After giving up disposable tableware, it became even more pleasant and tastier. They make their own tinctures. Try it. I would also like to mention the pleasant staff!

We are not talking about the former GUM cafeteria, but about a new one that was opened in March 2024, where light bulbs, irons, and other electrical goods used to be sold in the right wing of the 1st floor. I once asked a barista: why do they pour coffee into two cups when ordering Americano - for me and "that guy"? She began to explain: they say, everything is on the technological map for one tab. I wasn't convinced, even though I mentioned the grams. The receptionist was called, but she listened in silence. The guard was even standing next to me, glaring angrily in my direction. After that, GUM's cafeteria was bypassed, since there are enough others. The other day I decided to find out what has changed. Surprisingly, the entire Americano bookmark went into one cup. Whether the staff has been changed, the technological map, or something else, I think this is exactly how it should be. The coffee turned out good and without procedural bitterness.

The dining room on the 4th floor is a great place for those nostalgic for this format. A large selection of dishes, dishes are clean, whole, tables are clean. The prices are very low: a salad of really fresh vegetables and a cold salad (sparse) - 2-2.5 rubles, fish meatballs - 5 rubles and very tasty. Coffee is 3 rubles, but not very tasty. It's a bit noisy, there's no beautiful view from the window, but as a dining room it's super.
