We visited the Carpe diem restaurant twice during our trip: first when we arrived in Brest, when we were looking for a place for dinner, and again before leaving. We liked the cozy atmosphere and the spacious hall with lots of seats. The food was excellent — we tried borscht, tongue and bruschetta, and all the dishes met expectations. Cocktails also deserve a special mention: they are especially pleasantly refreshing on hot August days. If I find myself in Brest again, I will definitely come here again. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and atmosphere.

At first we sat on the veranda, waited, waited, no one came up, did not bring the menu, although people were eating at neighboring tables. We decided to go to the main building, where the menu was immediately brought to us and the dishes were served quite quickly.
