We visited the Carpe diem restaurant twice during our trip: first when we arrived in Brest, when we were looking for a place for dinner, and again before leaving. We liked the cozy atmosphere and the spacious hall with lots of seats. The food was excellent — we tried borscht, tongue and bruschetta, and all the dishes met expectations. Cocktails also deserve a special mention: they are especially pleasantly refreshing on hot August days. If I find myself in Brest again, I will definitely come here again. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and atmosphere.

A very good city cafe. For a particular restaurant, there is a lack of some explicit idea in the interior or kitchen (one name is not enough). Unobtrusive, not kitsch, without pretensions. Extremely attentive staff. The dishes are delicious, not small. I liked that there is a good selection of smoothies, lemonades, milkshakes! You can sit down with a view of the pedestrian Sovetskaya. High sofas - you can't see the neighboring tables!

In general, we were satisfied, the food was delicious, we took a burger, borscht, solyanka, pasta with seafood, rolls. There is also a disadvantage in the service. At first we sat on the veranda, waited, waited, no one came up, did not bring the menu, although people were eating at neighboring tables. We decided to go to the main building, where the menu was immediately brought to us and the dishes were served quite quickly.

We were with our family at the beginning of April: two adults and two children, everyone liked it. The interior, the atmosphere and the dishes, everything is fine! The only thing is that the waiters should be even more attentive to the visitors, so as not to look out for their waiter for an additional order for a very long time. But it might just be a coincidence when we were at the restaurant.

Recently we came here, decided to see what and how. We ordered two salads and an Old Bobby beer. We were not warned that one of the salads (with beef) was spicy. And in the salad with white fish and shrimp there were three shrimp with unpeeled tails (why should I put my hands in the salad with sauce?).The beer felt like it was diluted with water, as they had already drunk it in Minsk in another institution.
In addition to everything, there is almost no light in the toilet, it feels like it is more for a club or a bar, it is dark all around. The impression of the place is not the most pleasant, it is unlikely that we will visit it again.

Была недавно.
Заведение приятное, находится в центре совецкой, легкодоступное, много посадочных мест.
Атмосфера приятная, музыка не слишком тихая и не слишком громкая, интерьер не слишком броский, удобные сиденья с подушками, что мне очень понравилось, можно регулировать под себя, так же есть летняя терраса.
Цены, выше чем в кафе, но и ниже чем в ресторанах.
Персонал опрятно одет, обслуживают хорошо 👍
Напитки и еда супер, просто в восторге, на сколько я знаю все блюда делают абсолютно в ручную и нарезки и соусы, вплоть до перебивания пюре!
Пицца и драники просто огонь, очень понравились также пару раз брала разные горячие блюда, тоже шик! Готовят достаточно быстро невзирая на большое количество гостей, спасибо поварам!
Рекомендую, сама с удовольствием ещё приду🥰

You can only find fault with Caesar, who has not been cooked like this for a hundred years. Chopped cabbage noodles and chicken pieces + crackers. It is worth reviewing the serving of the dish. I'm sure it will be much better
The waiters can not cope with the work, the order is taken a long time. Tables are dust-free, no one rubs them on the street
I have to wipe the dusty table and the same chair with my napkin (by the way, the chairs look tired)

Забежали с друзьями сюда на гастрофест. И теперь я смело могу рекомендовать это заведение! Красивая подача вкуснейших блюд, вежливый и приятный официант, уютная атмосфера сделали мой день незабываемым) Фасолевый паштет с двумя видами невероятно вкусного домашнего хлеба, салат с жареной брынзой с необычной заправкой, пахлава с ореховым вареньем! Недавно побывали в данном заведение, хочу отметить как плюсы так и минусы. Из плюсов, большое разнообразное меню, понравится любому человеку с разными вкусами, приятная атмосфера, приятно сидеть за столиком у окна с видом на улицу Советскую. Из минусов - обслуживала недовольная официантка, уставшая и неприветливая. Заказали 2 блюда, подали их не в одно время, ждали заказ долго, мясо медальон из свинины, было жёстким.
Кофе был весьма примитивным, за такую же стоимость есть места с более вкусным кофе!

Обслуживание супер. Очень быстро, вежливо. Особая благодарность поварам. Блюда все вкусные, порции большие. Атмосфера благоприятствует хорошему отдыху. Хороший выбор напитков. Отдыхать или просто вкусно покушать советуем только в этом заведении Бреста. Спасибо за всё!

I was poisoned by salmon tartare, I strongly advise against it.
In general, the establishment leaves mixed feelings. Apparently, the institution is trying to present itself as a restaurant, but it feels like something more like a cafe-canteen. It's noisy and not tasty. Perhaps we were so "lucky", but this place was recommended to us, and in the end tartarus asked to return very soon. There have never been such stories before.

Если бы можно было поставить дробную оценку поставил бы 4,5.
За сами блюда крепкая 5. Заказывали говяжьи щечки, говяжий язык, бедро утки и карбонару. Все бы ло на отлично. Оценку снизил за подачу вина - бармену следует отработать открытие бутылки его налив по бокалам - сильно хромает, такое впечатление что первый раз штопором пользовался и при наливе капли попадали и на стол и на руки гостей )). Пришлось помогать бармену придерживая бутылку при открытии - соскальзывала со стола. Официантки приветливые и старательные

Потрясающее место! Хотите где-то вкусно покушать и пообщаться с друзьями - вам сюда. Фондан - вкуснейший в стране, не в каждом заведении Минска такой приготовят. Сама атмосфера пешеходной улицы полностью отражается в этом заведении. Уютно, много теплого света, улыбчивый персонал, быстрое обслуживание, цветы, позитивные надписи на картинах из цикла "следуй за мечтой и у тебя всё получится", прекрасный вид на движение за окнами. Мягкие, удобные диванчики с подушками. Ивану отдельный респект - никогда не встречала настолько элегантного обслуживания.
