The Constantino-Eleninsky Cathedral is an ancient, venerated temple, it turned 170 years old in 2024 this year. There is something to compare it with - such an atmosphere is found only in ancient temples built by parishioners and benefactors. Amazing painting inside the temple, many ancient icons, the miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Pochaev, the icon of the Cathedral of the New Martyrs and Confessors in the land of Kazakhstan who shone. The monastery church of Alexander Nevsky is a special place where the Lord touches the soul without words. A small temple with many ancient icons. You definitely won't get out of there the same way. There is another world in this small temple, and the unique, incredible power of prayer of monks and nuns is felt. I am very sorry that we were busy with our own affairs and fuss, and did not defend ourselves in any service. We found and entered the temple by God's Providence on the last day before departure. Thank You, God! I hope that with God's help we will visit again. May the Lord preserve all employees, monastics, benefactors and all Orthodox Christians in the Kazakhstan diocese!
