The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos is the current cathedral of the Batumi and Laz Diocese of the Georgian Orthodox Church in Batumi. The temple is built of white stone in the Neo-Gothic style. The interior is decorated with red stone and blue-gold ornaments typical of Neo-Gothic architecture. Sculptures of Saint Nina and St. Andrew the First-Called are installed in niches to the right and left of the entrance to the temple. The temple was built from 1898 to 1903. It's a very beautiful temple. Now part of the temple is in the scaffolding, under restoration.
