The Church of Our Lady of Ruzhentsova in Peski was built in 1918 on the site of an older church. It is a striking example of neo-Gothic. The use of rubble stone in the decoration gives the church of Our Lady of Ruzhentsova in the Sands a picturesque appearance and makes it look like a small knight's castle.
During the Second World War, the church was heavily shelled. So the temple lost one peak.
In 1945, the church was closed and then used as a warehouse for a long time. It was only by the end of the 1980s that the church was returned to the church and restoration work was carried out until 1997.

It's worth stopping by to see, the church looks old, although it was restored in the last century. We got to the service on Saturday at 11, across the street from the Orthodox church - you can explore both attractions
