We celebrated with a large group at the Chaika restaurant, and it was one of the warmest and most organized holidays! ❤️ Special respect for the impeccable organization — everything went like clockwork! 🎼 The kitchen is a delight! The delicious dishes that I remember from the summer were especially magical this evening! The chef is a magician! 👨‍🍳✨ But the biggest impression is the people and the service! Personally, I want to single out two professionals: The restaurant director is a human being-attention! He was so sensitive to every table that he seemed to remember everyone personally! I have never seen such care and control! This is the highest level of hospitality! 🙌 Omar the waiter is the standard of professionalism! He worked so correctly, quickly and UNNOTICEABLY that the rest was 100% comfortable! Thank you! 👍 The atmosphere was perfect: music, warm welcome, cozy hall. You can come to this place for coffee and admire the view, but you're never hungry or just come for dinner... it's better to go to other places for that.

I first came to this restaurant in October 2024 on the advice of an acquaintance. I am absolutely delighted, the prices are slightly lower than in Moscow, but they are very tasty and beautiful. In September 2025, there was complete disappointment, good cooks disappeared somewhere, smoking was allowed in the room and one smoker completely smoked out a very spacious hall. I prefer Negroni from cocktails, but this time they poured 100 ml into the tank instead of the required 300 and began to prove that it had always been that way. The kitchen is a separate story, we couldn't roast the chicken wings properly, and the mussels that hadn't opened were brought to the next table. It is clear that the locals absolutely do not care about this, they are very proud people, but they are not very conscious.

We were refused a simple request to cook the dish as usual, but without adding oil (grilled vegetables). Okay, okay, let's move on. I ordered a salad with crispy eggplant, there is no description of the dish or a picture on the menu. and like a normal ordinary person, I expect a standard salad of feta, coriander, tomatoes and eggplant from this name. bottom line, they bring me a plate full of bitter lettuce, eggplant like embers, but raw inside, AND MY FAVORITE PART is door blue cheese.... That's where I fell out.... what???... in such situations, they usually warn about the discrepancy between the recipe and the original one, or at least change the name of the dish. Beautiful interior, amazing view, interesting menu, delicious salads. 4 cheese pizza is just a masterpiece! Thin, tasty and crispy dough, rich taste of cheeses. I took off the star for mussels in dor blue sauce. A saucepan, 9 mussels in flaps, all filled with liquid cream. I don't recommend a signature cocktail either. Tasteless, lots of ice and foam.

The service was good, they responded quickly enough to requests, and the dishes were also brought quickly, despite the fact that they had a banquet and other visitors. August, 2025. We walked along the sea with my husband in the evening (at 8.30 pm) (we rested at the nearby Aitar boarding house), a beautiful restaurant (cafe), and decided to have dinner. The hall was empty (without guests), 3 tables were occupied on the highway, we were decently dressed, sober))) The waiter or the receptionist met us at the entrance, "appreciated" us, said they could offer us a table on the terrace, because they were free there, we went to the terrace, approached an empty table, pushed back the chairs and.. the waiter flies up and says we will allow you to sit only on the terrace around the corner (next to the external blocks from the conder, to the trash can, the railroad, and the drunken company at the back of the establishment. At the same time, there were practically no guests in the restaurant! We are adults, self-sufficient, solvent people who love to eat delicious food...they refused such a flattering offer))) We left the restaurant, not understanding what was wrong with us, and went to the center of Sukhum. I don't recommend this place. Alas, it was not possible to evaluate the kitchen and the bar's map.

Well, for example, mashed soup with wild mushrooms, champignon floats as a decoration) Mussels in a creamy sauce with a crispy baguette - mussels are there and there is no sauce (which is traditionally at least a third of the pan to dip the baguette in it), so slightly on small mussels. I ask the burger if you bake the buns yourself, yes they say, but I didn't specify how fresh they are))) In general, the chefs stole something or we were so lucky or we were spoiled by higher-quality establishments. The prices are Moscow, the dishes are simple as in the dining room. I almost forgot the menu- it's just a disgrace - it's disgusting to pick up a scuffle, torn, taped on both sides, tin, how can this be allowed, it doesn't fit in my head. But the view from the window is just amazing. And don't be surprised if guests will smoke a lot and often at a table next to you, despite the fact that you are with children. Where the 5 stars come from is not clear. We ordered 2 caesars with shrimps, we waited for an hour as a result, and only after we were reminded of ourselves did they bring us one salad with salmon and another with shrimps. The salad had limp lettuce leaves, and was seasoned with terrible mayonnaise. You can go to this cafe in the evening just for the music. The menu does not specify the number of dishes. To my clarifying question to the waiter: are giant mussels kiwi mussels, I received an affirmative answer. As a result, the declared giant mussels turned out to be ordinary Black Sea mussels worth 850 rubles for a very small pot. For comparison, the average cost of such a dish in cafes and restaurants in Sukhum, at a level identical to a Seagull, is 500-700 rubles! At the same time, the yield of mussels is almost 1.5-2 times higher. A cocktail restaurant with a wonderful sunset view, no more.

We give 3 stars for a very long wait. The hall was half full. If you arrive 10 minutes before the end of breakfast, then you will not order it anymore. Desserts are also almost gone by the 12th day.
