One of the best spots to eat in Buchara. Went to the city for 3 days and both nights me and my wife enjoyed amazing meals there. And as a bonus the sweets were awesome. Service with a smile and great atmosphere. Will make sure to be there next time we're in town.

We visited this place on the recommendation of a guide, during a break between excursions, at lunchtime.We chose a table outdoors. We ordered 2 dishes, a flatbread and fruit tea. The main condition is that the waiting time for meals is short. The staff is polite. But he doesn't know the composition of the dishes specifically, he can't recommend it. Obviously, my wife had a spring salad with a beautiful name, but.. A whole plate with a mountain of finely chopped tough purple cabbage, practically without spices, which is not listed in the dish. An incomprehensible, difficult-to-reproduce dish. which I did not deign to photograph. A flatbread and tea helped out.. I have enough strength before dinner.. I have succeeded in Dry lagman, both in taste and content. I photographed him.

In the evening, they were looking for a place to dine in the center of Bukhara. The restaurant, which we really liked (its name is consonant with the architectural ensemble on the same square), unfortunately could not serve us, all the tables were occupied. That's why we went to this place, which is a five-minute walk away. After reading some laudatory reviews. The waiters didn't notice us for twenty minutes, but then we finally managed to place an order. I ordered manpar soup (with noodles) and a salad from the chef; my wife wanted chicken noodle soup and mushroom julienne with tongue and French fries; and a pot of black tea with thyme and lemon. The waiter ran to check if there was any manpar soup, returned and said that there was such a soup. Twenty minutes later, a pot of tea arrived. The tea was not black, but green. Another ten minutes passed, my order arrived, and when I started eating the soup, I realized that it was mastava soup (with rice, also called "liquid pilaf"). Although the soup was delicious. The chef's salad was a little meager, four small slices of chicken, lettuce leaves, well, I wasn't impressed. By the time I finished what was brought to me, my wife was still sitting, looking at the empty table in front of her. Ten minutes later, the soup and Julienne arrived at the same time. She liked the soup. Julien is very small, a mess of mushrooms with dotted patches of tongue. In general, it seemed that the waiters were senselessly running back and forth, while their utility coefficient was close to zero. The soups are delicious. It would be a good idea for the waiter to carefully hand over the order or carefully accept it from the cook. A young man playing the violin gets five points. Well done. Prices are slightly above average.

It's a pretty nice place, lots of people. We took dumplings, pilaf and lula, in general, everything is very tasty. The only thing we didn't notice was the super proactivity of the waiters, which is so praised in the reviews. The empty plates were not removed during dinner, but were stacked by us on the edge of the table. The only moment that really enlivened the waiters was the taxi drivers' fight over the customer.

The portions here are average, but in this case it's a plus. It's true that you can eat well here, but at the same time try 4-5 different dishes for one person, and if with someone, then even more. It's decorated well. The menu is more aimed at tourists. The food is mediocre. I ordered fried lamb ribs, and they brought me simply fried pieces of meat. The meat is dry, tough and with veins. I couldn't chew the first piece, I swallowed it like that. I barely bit off the meat from the second one. The third one didn't take it anymore. I called the waiter and asked why they promised ribs, but they brought me something I didn't understand. The waiter tried to get out, saying that these were the ribs of a young lamb. And there was not a single hint of ribs. And a lamb can't be that tough. How not to overcook it. Then the waiter went to the kitchen and disappeared for at least half an hour. Then he came and said that, indeed, the ribs had run out and they had fried what was left. They didn't take the money for this dish. By the way, this dish cost more than 1000 rubles in rubles. During my 2 trips to Uzbekistan, this is the first place where the lamb was cooked so badly. The next evening, we were eating at another restaurant, and I specially took the same ribs fried in butter. Very, very tasty! In principle, it cannot be compared with the squalor that was brought to me in this restaurant. I don't give one star just because in the end they admitted their mistake and the rest of the food was generally edible.

I ordered pilaf and a salad with tomatoes. They did a good job with the salad, but with the pilaf, of course, the guys took their hearts out on the tourist. Well, it's okay that the rice is a little dry, it happens. But the meat was dry, seasoned, apparently aged for a couple of days in the refrigerator without packaging and carefully cut into pieces before serving. I don't remember eating worse pilaf, alas. The only thing that saves the impression of Uzbekistan is the pilaf center in Samarkand, where I ate really delicious pilaf.

Cafe near the Labi Havuz ensemble in Bukhara. Nice interior, delicious food. I especially liked the live music. The man performed classical music on the violin just masterfully, which created a very warm and sincere atmosphere. After dinner, of course, I thanked him.
