I recommend that you definitely explore the Protestant Church of Kaarli from the outside and, if possible, go inside. The name of the Church was given in honor of the Swedish King Charles XI. The construction of the Church in the Neo-Gothic style lasted ten years from 1862 to 1882. The Church has a bell, cast in 1696 in Stockholm. The Church building fascinates with its monumental appearance, its stunning design fascinates. The walls of gray - cream brick, small window openings, two stunningly beautiful towers with spires and crosses, and an impressive cross set in the center between the towers create the impression that this building is from a fairy-tale world. One of the central places above the entrance is occupied by an exclusive German-made clock, installed in 1909 and showing the real time of day. Once inside the Church, one immediately notices the huge, very bright interior space. The interior of the Church, the organ from 1923, the chandeliers from the 19th century, the ceiling, the frescoes from 1879 and 1889 fascinate with their beauty. The entrance to the Kaarli Church is free and free, and there are special places for voluntary donations for the maintenance of the Temple. Photography is allowed. Free brochures about the history of the Church are posted at the entrance to the Church.
