It is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in the history of the Cold War and the confrontation between the USSR and the USA. Just be prepared that the real situation of that time has been lost. You will only be able to see the checkpoint booth, as well as marketing props, African Americans dressed in military uniforms (photo with them 3 euros), a bunch of souvenir shops, hustle and crowds of tourists. The atmosphere of those years will have to be recreated exclusively in your imagination :)
