A very decent interior! There are still magnetic boards that I saw in tournament halls only in photographs from the 1970s. Even the practice of moving figures with poles has been preserved, at least this was done at the 2017 Armenian Championship

The House of Chess has nurtured more than one generation of chess players. The building itself is Soviet modernism. It is very upsetting how disfiguring it is, attached to the facade of a new model-Tashir-pizza. Inside, everything is as it was 30 years ago: parquet, granite, portraits, talented people.
