Our favorite square! All seasons are beautiful there 😍 It's clean, cozy, and there aren't many people. It's good to walk with children. I like everything

It's a great place to play chess with a friend, but it's a little hard. I recommend coming in the evening, then there are fewer people.

In the center of the old city, at the intersection of Republic Avenue and Kenesary Street, there is a wonderful square called "Chess". There are many alleys, benches, various trees and shrubs: blue firs, lilacs, cherry trees, apple trees, etc. You can imagine how at different times of the year the square simply fascinates with the color of foliage and flowers. Stylized chess pieces dressed in artificial grass are placed next to the benches, and there are tables on the site with a chessboard marking on the tabletops. But the most remarkable thing is that chess fans of all ages come here all the time, with their boards, and groups of fans gather around the players, and this tradition has been going on for decades. A wonderful place, with a history. Come for a walk!
