The staff is very courteous and could speak basic English and Turkish too besides Russian and Uzbek. Good quality was excellent however service is a bit slow. Highly recommended.

Best baklava in Samarkand, very testy and fresh,really big choice of cookies, cakes and baklava.
One minor problem. There are Chocolate cafe and shop and when we bought sweets in their shop we were not able to eat them in the cafe.

We spent 3 days in Samarkand, went to the Chocolate cafe for breakfast. Cheesecakes, pancakes with cottage cheese are awesome, the cottage cheese is tender. My husband liked the English breakfast. A large selection of European dishes, delicious coffee, fast service, excellent prices! There's a shop nearby that sells pastries, pastries, and takeaway cakes. Huge selection

I ordered cakes in original shapes for my birthdays – they were made exactly like in the photo.
So far, I've ordered cakes in the shape of a car and a chessboard.

Whenever I come to Samarkand, I go to the Chocolat!!! Clean, delicious, the staff is top notch!!! We visit every day! Cakes, pastries, belyashi, pies, baklava, and many delicious things, all very, very tasty!!! The custom-made cake is gorgeous!!! WELL DONE!!!

A small but cozy cafe within walking distance from Samarkand railway station. It is open from 7 a.m. until late at night. We had sea buckthorn tea, pancakes and an omelet, it was delicious for us. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly.

I ordered a steak from the menu. As I understand it, for some steaks the price is per 100 grams, and for some per serving. This is not indicated in the menu.
When ordering, the waiter did not warn about the price per 100 grams and did not name the final price for the dish.
We took food with us, so the steak was packed in a thermocontainer.
When we received the bill, it turned out that the price of the steak was for 100 grams. They refused to reduce the price or cancel this position, because it was already cooked, although not eaten.
As a result, we paid the full price and left. After 10 minutes, the steak was taken out. He was already well done, terribly tough. The sensations are the most terrible. They cheated on the price, and the steak turned out to be very bad. There are no questions about the rest of the dishes, they were normal.

On the right, the cake is Sacher, but from sacher there is only the name. I advise you to rename it. The service leaves much to be desired . the waiters forget about the summer courtyard, although there were not so many guests. In the end , we waited probably 20 minutes so that they would just bring us ice cream . I want to notice a very tasty ice cream (raspberry, dark chocolate). Take the very thing with you. I often took their cakes from them, everything was always delicious, but for some reason everything was wrong that day. I almost forgot to write about coffee , it is very tasty and cooked well. Thanks to the barista. But still, you are a confectionery house, please try to improve the desserts, especially the Sacher and of course the service.

But I had practically no choice, as I needed to eat late at night near the railway station. What can I say - there is nothing unusual in the cafe. And why is the rating five stars? Because it's all for five. The waiters are very nice guys, everything is fast, clear, polite and it feels like you are the first customer of the day, not the hundredth: they helped me with my bag, found a table with an outlet next to it. The food is delicious, the pasta has four cheeses and I really liked the sauce, and the amount of cheese is not symbolic, it does not take very long to cook. The tea is brewed beautifully, fragrant. The cafe's working hours are excellent. The toilets are clean, everything is there.
