The monument to People's Artist of the USSR Cholponbek Bazarbayev was unveiled in Bishkek on September 24, 2012.
The memorial statue was created by sculptor Marat Ogonbayev and architect Saparbek Sultanov.
The sculpture embodies the image of one of the roles of a talented dancer: Cholponbek Bazarbayev is presented in full height and seems to take a step from the stage to the audience, to the people.
At the time of the inspection (October 2024), the benches around the pedestal are broken, not painted, the wood is spoiled by time.
The pedestal and the monument are clean, there is a flowerbed around.
The sign with information about the artist is not readable, the QR code is not recognized.
