Eski Zhuva is the history of Tashkent.I grew up in the old town myself and still live there.Sometimes I am proud that even in Africa they know the Old Town, Chorsu, Chigatai and Eski Juva are generally famous names.

There are many disadvantages, it is necessary to reconstruct the bazaar, what foreigners find there, I do not understand, sellers cheat a lot. The whole bazaar must be bypassed in order to find a cheaper, honest seller...

The Oriental market in the heart of Tashkent. Very cheap nuts, dry, fried and crispy. Sweets, dried fruits, such large and beautiful pomegranates I have never seen before, I still hear the aroma of Uzbek tortillas

If you are a tourist, then be sure to bargain to the bitter end.
In October, there were few fruits, which could not but upset. And melons are generally a problem. Be sure to ask for it to be cut in front of you, otherwise you risk buying the missing one

A huge market. They sell almost everything: from needles to cabinet furniture. It seems to me that you can't go around all the counters in a whole day. The main disadvantage is the prices. For local residents, prices are 2-3 times cheaper. So bargaining is very APPROPRIATE here

One of the highlights of Tashkent.
Chorsu Bazaar (Eski Zhuva bozori) is the second name of the market. It is famous not only for its fruits, vegetables, as well as for delicious dishes immediately gathered in One place, imagine in one place from Pilaf, Naryn (the dish is prepared from dough, horsemeat), samsa - the dough already crumbles when you take it in your hands, and there is a meat filling with a chicken that melts in your mouth, Xanym - just incomparable, Hasyp - well, it's just a charm.

Market. There is a brisk trade going on inside. I have not studied meat rows at prices, but dried fruits and tea merchants bend prices higher than Russian ones. And if you go outside, prices immediately fall sharply down. Therefore, I recommend buying dried fruits and teas on the street.
