The memorial consists of massive columns, each of which is decorated with bas-reliefs depicting key moments of Georgian history and culture. It's an exciting sight. It feels like I got into a location from a fairy tale or some kind of game. Lake Tbilisi is visible from the top. The impressions are great. You must visit this place at least once!

The place is amazing, the size of the pillars is simply mesmerizing, of course I thought they were big, but not that big. Stunning view of the city.
Attention: It is very windy, dress warmer especially in winter.

The elements of the bronze vent facades of the monument did not survive for several years. They disappear and are slowly repaired every two months.
The size of the monument is undoubtedly its main impressive property, however, sketches and scenes on columns are visible, which Tsereteli did reluctantly, hurriedly or not at all. The execution is substandard, schematic and sometimes simply disproportionate. Although right next to such imperfections, absolutely detailed work with cilia, deep look and composition.
Around the monument there is a magical charming view of sleeping bags and, uh, sleeping bags. You can also see garages, construction debris, the outskirts of the suburbs
and many truly majestic mountains, which are decorated with all shades of delicate colors at sunset and if you squat down, then there is only one pleasure to watch this spectacle.

Тбилиси можно посмотреть на 360 градусов, это лучшая смотровая в городе!

Мемориал возвышается над водохранилищем, видно и Шавнабадский монастырь, и Джвари, и телебашню, и страшные многоэтажки. Все это местами заслоняют ЛЭП, провода и слегка облупившаяся работа Церетели. Перед входом в туалет сидит тетенька и собирает по 1 лари за подход к чаше «Генуя», отсутствие туалетной бумаги, мыла и работающего умывальника. Если пройтись по тропинке чуть в сторону от монумента, то среди прочего мусора видны следы тех, кто сэкономил эту сумму. Рекомендую на обратном пути заехать в Гардению Шеварднадзе, чтобы сменить картинку и полюбоваться произведениями не рук человеческих.

Будьте аккуратны если идете пешком от метро -там частный сектор и есть собаки. Одна и та же собака покусала моего брата и друга (в разные дни независимо друг от друга ходили и потом на прививке встретились). Лучше на такси , чтобы потом не делать уколы .
Сам по себе монумент масштабный

потрясающее место, посещайте вдумчиво, не торопясь) масштаб поражает.
отличный вид на город со смотровых площадок, заодно можно посетить Тбилисское море и искупаться.

Мемориал впечатляет!!! Советую всем к посещению. Но лучше запланировать параллельно с другими экскурсиями, т.к. на просмотр уйдет минут 10, а дорога к нему не близкая.

Никогда ещё скульптуры не производили на меня такого впечатления как здесь. Обязательно всем нужно здесь побывать.
