Beit Lehem, בֵּית ל ל or "house of bread" - this is actually the Hebrew translation of the name of the city of Bethlehem, the capital of the historical region of Judea. Many turtle doves fly near the Church of the Nativity of Christ, here is a calm and beautiful biblical corner. On the walls there are images of the Mother of God as she was represented in different countries of the world, sometimes completely unusual. Outside the gates, the life of Palestine is in full swing, but inside there is silence, peace and quiet.

An extraordinary place. Touching the millennia. There is an incredible calmness inside.It is located in the very center of Palestine. A few meters from the basilica is the local bazaar, which is a real noisy colorful one.I was here in June 2025 and was able to see everything completely and slowly, because there were no tourists at all because of the war.
