A wonderful hotel! We were vacationing with a family of 4 people. There is a wide bed in the room, plus a full-size bed. This should be borne in mind, because 3 adults in one bed, even if it is wide, will be uncomfortable. Maximum with a child up to 130 cm. One of the main advantages of the hotel is the restaurant. There is a lot of varied food. There are European, Indian, and Sri Lankan cuisines to choose from. A vegetarian's paradise, every second dish is meat-free. You will also have a salad, fried eggs in a pancake, a piece of leg of lamb, or baked bananas in mango sauce. There is a separate room for desserts, because there are many, many of them! The territory is small. Everything that was written about chipmunks, monitor lizards and peacocks is true. Please do not feed the chipmunks with bread, it makes them feel bad, buy simple nuts, or bring ordinary seeds with you, they will be happy. There is a village around the hotel, there is nowhere to go on foot in the evening. In this case, we were helped by our guide, Cheri, from whom we bought excursions. He drove us around for free every day. Since you can not write contacts here, please contact me personally, I will give you a contact. He really helped us a lot in adaptation and cultural leisure. I met him and escorted him to the airport. In addition to excursions, he organized surfing lessons for children, not far from the hotel. He told me where you can have lunch and where you shouldn't. We only took breakfast and dinner, so the extra meals were at nearby cafes, where Cherie took us by tuk-tuk, and then delivered us to the hotel. We also rode an elephant very close to the hotel. The hotel saw a local wedding, and the most piquant thing is that the hotel is compact and the wedding ceremony took place right in the lobby, and we watched everything from the pool. All the staff are very polite and try to please, any wish is immediately fulfilled as quickly as possible. If something in the room does not work, it is repaired/changed. We even had our room replaced because the first one didn't have a very comfortable mattress. We left towel figures a couple of times, and it's nice to have some change. No one begs for tips, but they are very welcome. There is not much animation. On Saturdays there are costume dances or fire shows. We were in July 2025. The weather was cloudy, which was even good, not as hot as under the scorching sun. Sometimes it rained for a short time. If it was in the pool, it was even fun to swim in the rain. The hotel is 30-50% full on weekdays out of season, and it is always fully packed on weekends. This is another plus, coming out of season. We will miss this wonderful place and the kind people living in this country.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in early November, great hotel, location, beautiful locations, lots of chipmunks, monitor lizards, jaguars. The food was only breakfast (but we chose the restaurants on the coast within walking distance according to the maps) All local excursions, and in principle, CHERRY TOURS was responsible for all the service on the island, he was also selected in advance based on reviews, he was waiting for us) We took two excursions from him : -Yala National Park by jeep (you won't regret taking it) There's also the adrenaline of riding in open jeeps (there are special chairs on top for piccap safaris). There are a lot of animals in the open area: elephants, a lot of deer/buffaloes/bulls, crocodiles, birds, peacocks, flamingos, monkeys, if you're lucky, you'll see a leopard - a trip along the river (there you feed wild friendly monkeys with your hand, they all come down the vines to you, saw two crocodiles, medium and small, but showed a video-if you're lucky (there are 4-5 meters swimming, azmer with a boat) and the same huge monitor lizards 3-4m As a gift, Cherry gave us two more free excursions (the lighthouse and the turtle farm), we were very satisfied with the service, and we also wrote to him in advance via the WhatsApp app (you can arrange delivery of food and drinks) he also took us to a good tea shop before leaving (where he is inexpensive, because there is a run-up for tea for 100g from 300 to 1500rupi) and high-quality fruits on the market (he also brought everything, showed where what and how much at prices) So in terms of leisure CHERRY TOURS Cherry - I highly recommend it (excursions, food, souvenirs, fruits - will do everything according to the highest class)

I liked the hotel, the food is delicious, you can swim. In the hotel reviews, we found information about a guide named Cherie — and we never regretted contacting him! He organized our transfer from the airport to the hotel, helped with excursions and told us a lot of interesting things about life in Sri Lanka, its traditions and the most beautiful places. Cheri was always in touch, helped with the tuk-tuk transfer, suggested the nearest supermarkets and shops where you can profitably and conveniently buy everything you need. He offered many excursions around the island and helped choose the most impressive routes. We went on a river safari with him and to the Nine—Arch Bridge - the trips were wonderful, comfortable and with a soul. Everything was organized clearly and with care for us. Cherie is not just a guide, but a real person with a kind heart, with whom you feel like a friend. We recommend that all tourists contact him — with Cherie, your vacation in Sri Lanka will be unforgettable! 🌴✨
