We had a rest at the end of December 2023 at this hotel. We are thrilled. The hotel is on the ocean, the view from the room to the ocean, the constant sound of the waves is super. The staff is friendly. The room was cleaned every day. For breakfast, the choice is varied, there are a lot of fruits. We really liked it!!!

I'll put 5 for the overall vacation experience. As for the hotel, it's a good four. About the beautiful: the staff is responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious, all are located with windows to the ocean, which, I must say, is not quiet, but you quickly and happily get used to this noise, the territory is small, but green and gentrified with wildlife from monitor lizards to cats, there is an improvised bar with a view and sound of the ocean, swings with the same "amenities", outdoor showers near the always clean pool. There have always been sturdy wooden sun beds with mattresses and beach towels. Right opposite the exit of the hotel is a very pleasant supermarket with government prices and price tags, where you can buy both groceries and household goods, there is also an alcohol market. There are plenty of cafes around the hotel with fine seafood and delicious rum. Now about the incessant: the hotel has no entrance to the ocean, the coast is a dead coral with moray eels and sea urchins. The latter are certainly interesting, but you can't buy into them. A calm lagoon is located if you stand facing the ocean, on the right in 7 minutes walk, you can walk both along the coast (with small obstacles) and along the street (then go to the left). A very beautiful beach with wonderful waves is located on the opposite side, about 10 minutes walk down the street. There is not a single pebble in the water, but the waves are serious, however, they are beautiful). The breakfasts for me were wonderful, there was a local frankly insular food - chicken, fish, beans, always fried eggs, fruits, vegetables, rolls, bread (the tea and coffee table is located just below the main restaurant), but for those who like to eat meat in the morning without Lankan spices - alas. Relax with pleasure!

Please keep in mind: music is playing very loudly every evening until 00 - 01. The hotel has a schedule every evening - karaoke, live music, fireworks, something else, and you just won't be able to enjoy the silence and the sound of the waves. The staff does not respond to requests to turn down the music, they say that their guests want to enjoy karaoke. By the way, the bar where all this happens is outdoors, loud music can be heard in the rooms even through earplugs. If you want to hang out late into the night, you'll get in. If you want peace of mind, think 10 times. As much as we liked everything else, but because of this damn music, we don't go there anymore.

In general, the hotel is not bad, especially on the emotions that you get from the country. There are minuses and pluses. Pros: friendly staff, generally clean rooms are cleaned every day, the territory is well maintained, a normal pool, beach towels are provided (you need to contact the staff who walk around the pool), delicious dinners, convenient location. Cons: there is no private beach (you need to walk 100 meters), poor breakfasts, little fruit. Bottom line: I would definitely come back.

A wonderful hotel! The best impressions! Very good location. It's just a pity that there is no private beach. We went swimming in the lagoon to the Hikkaduwa Tens Hotel, where the waves are smaller, although you can swim at the neighboring Supercorals hotel. The room came with a terrace on the 3rd floor. The view from the window is of a beautiful landscaped area with a swimming pool and the Indian Ocean. We took breakfast meals and ordered seafood dinner several times. Everything is very tasty and even cheaper than in some Cafes in the neighborhood. There was wonderful live music several times in the evenings, even songs were performed in Russian-it was very pleasant! The hotel, restaurant and on-site cleanliness! There were always enough sun beds and beach towels for everyone . The staff is very friendly and attentive, no request will be ignored. There is a kettle and tea facilities in the room. Of the excursions, only one "Pearl of Sri Lanka" was taken for $ 140 per person (from the tour operator Anextur). I liked everything, but it's too far from us to Sigiriya... 4-5 hours on the road in one direction, even on a toll road… It's exhausting. What I saw was worth it!!!

We were in July 2023. A very good four. All rooms have ocean views. Cleaning is daily, normal. Buffet meals. Food for every taste, not just curry. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Some people understand Russian well and can even speak it a little. Of the disadvantages, the small territory and swimming in the ocean at the hotel will not work because there is a dead coral reef. You need to walk 10 minutes to another beach. Huge turtles come to this beach, which can be fed with algae.

We had a vacation in March 2023 in Sri Lanka. I really liked it and the hotel and staff played a big role in this. The place is wonderful. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Nadun helped us a lot, he works at the hotel, he can speak Russian. He helped us navigate the area , always asking if we needed help . In general, everyone at the hotel is very friendly , the hotel is guarded around the clock. Great food, live music every evening and the place is wonderful, there is a supermarket and a bus stop nearby. We really fell in love with this amazing country with its amazing nature and wonderful people. Nadun was a great friend to us and revealed to us the amazing people of Sri Lanka. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Honestly, I'm very disappointed with the hotel. We got the worst room, on the minus ground floor, next to the restaurant, shabby, it's not 4 or even 3 stars. A maximum of 2 and that's a stretch. This is the first time in all my years of traveling that I have come across such a discrepancy with expectations. The only plus is the proximity to the ocean and that is maximally offset by noisy evening programs that do not let you sleep until 12 at night. So, if the purpose of rest is silence, peace, relaxation and healthy sleep under the sound of the surf, then definitely not here. At first, until 12 at night, the ears are laid by musical performances, then tables and chairs are moved with a bang until one o'clock in the morning, the staff is chattering, well, at 6 in the morning the kitchen opens and everything is new. It is possible to carve out a maximum of 4 hours a day for sleep. Such a regime has nothing to do with rest. If you manage to get into this hotel, by no means agree to rooms on the minus ground floor, there is no promised even partial sea view, but there is a view of the wall of the restaurant, snakes on the lawn, round-the-clock noise and hubbub of varying degrees of intensity..

The next day we were given a room on the second floor. Secondly, the beach. There is not much place to sunbathe, there is not much space. They don't swim in front of the hotel, because there are reefs in the ocean, and going to the neighboring beach is a whole Fort Boyard: there are very strong waves on the beach on the left, people even had fractures; to the beach on the right you will walk first over huge rocks, and then along a narrow concrete platform, and all this time you will be There is a very strong wave going on. Your task is not to lose your balance at this moment and not to get killed on the rocks. The beach is not big and the ocean is shallow, but there are a couple of turtles swimming there. To swim, you need to step back a little. The food at the hotel is not the best, there is little choice and all the food is very spicy. The staff is very arrogant and persistent. Towels for sun beds near the pool were sometimes not enough.
