The hotel is super!!! But, as always, there is one thing, but! Sri Lanka has been an English colony for a long time and apparently the local population has a genetic memory that needs to serve the British. So that your beach towels can be thrown away while you are swimming in the ocean and place the British there. They can ignore your request to pour water, because the British are more important. And so the hotel itself is great.

The hotel stands on a narrow strip of land between the ocean and the road. Our windows faced the ocean, the door faced the road. The hum of the ocean is superimposed on the noise of vehicles, horns, train horns, which create a constant background sound. Therefore, you definitely do not need to go here for silence. The hotel is small with friendly staff. There are a lot of Russian-speaking tourists, but there are no Russian-speaking staff. The rooms are cleaned daily, without complaints. Sometimes, however, they did not have time to bring fresh towels from the laundry before lunch. The ocean at the hotel in late February - early March was restless, every morning we were greeted by a red flag. We went swimming in another place.

The hotel is bad, the furniture is old, the sound insulation is bad, the wifi and the phone work terribly. The towel was dirty, the locks were old, the key was stuck. The dinners are good only on weekends, but everything is spicy and a lot of local people come. 2 stars for the view , by the way there is no beach and the territory is not well maintained , the hotel needs renovation

I came to rest here, the Lankans ask for an additional payment for the second person, that is, no one can even come to you, let alone stay the night. They demand crazy money all the time. The pool is being cleaned, everything is OK, the rooms are quite cozy, but the staff leaves much to be desired. The attitude is disgusting :) they gossip among themselves, I do not recommend this Hotel. I had an all inclusive and I was not allowed to eat a buffet from 7 a.m., but only at 10 a.m. where there is no table, there is only a menu with a couple of dishes. In general) 2 stars only for the bed and room.

from 3*, there is no animation. we were only at breakfast, very decent. the ocean is just a couple of steps away, but huge waves do not allow you to enter the water from had to walk 10 minutes to the neighboring hotel. there are turtles and the water is calm. the rooms have everything you need, but the curtains are stained with dirty spots, the mirror is covered in a thick layer of dust and streaks. there is no Internet in the room and no Russian channel either. but when we were there, the manager started some kind of repair, maybe they were doing Wi-Fi in the rooms

By visiting the Citrus Hotel for the second time.I was satisfied with the hotel.cleaning room, maintenance staff.Good breakfast and dinner.The waiters and the cook are very friendly.It is always possible to solve all the problems that arise at the reception.At the Restaurant, you can order shrimp, crabs and lobsters for an additional fee.There is a large green shop opposite the hotel with reasonable prices.The price and quality of the hotel correspond to the level of a 4-star hotel.I recommend you to visit.I will come to Sri Lanka only in Citrus .

A good strong hotel for 4 points. Rooms with ocean views are much better than the rest, although there are rooms with noisy air conditioning. But this hotel is an order of magnitude better than anything around. There is everything for the family. But I got tired of eating here on the 2nd day (there were only breakfasts)

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Cockroaches, it is not possible to eat food, the air conditioner buzzes as if a Boeing is taking off, there is no beach of its own! Noisy parties are possible (until morning) since the hotel provides banquet hall services! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP!!!

We are currently here on vacation. For the price at which anex sells it in Russia, this is too much! It's easier to take expensive Aeroflot tickets and fly in comfort and choose a room in a similar hotel and it will be cheaper, even if Aeroflot tickets come out 150 thousand for two. Anex sends people here every day, disagree, definitely not worth the money. 1. Breakfast is just tears, a lot of local spicy food, European minimum and it's bread/rolls and boiled egg, fried egg and omelet. Breakfast is before 10:00, but if you come at 09:00-09:30 there will be nothing, no one will report anything to you either, even if you ask. The arrangement of food areas in the restaurant is absolutely stupid, you have to go and wander around looking for coffee / tea, while there are plenty of free places where the buffet is displayed in order to organize a coffee zone. Well, if the coffee is over, then wait 15-20 minutes and after 09 it is better not to wait. With such an abundance of fresh fruits and seafood on the island, there is the minimum and only for those who came at 08 am. There is nothing from fish, seafood for breakfast, maximum chicken in curry, I will not say anything about porridge soups at all. 2. Tired rooms, many people write about it, but there is a moment that they were tired 5 years ago. 3. If you need to work here, there is Wi-Fi, but it is very, very slow, plus there is a new password every day and you need to go to the reset every time. 4. The room has a refrigerator and a safe. The refrigerator is working, but the safe is very tired, they didn't even resurrect it, it feels like the year of release is somewhere in the 80s. To work now, you need to take a card at the reception. 5. There is no beach of its own, but you can walk, everything is nearby 6. For some reason, there is only one shampoo and shower gel for two people. It has never been updated in 3 days. There are shower caps, soap. There are no slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes and mini toothpastes. The hair dryer is working properly. 7. There is a constant smell of sewage in the toilet/ bathtub. 8. Drinking water is being renewed. This is not the first time in Sri Lanka, we traveled independently without a tour operator, lived in different parts of the island, so we present the prices and the level that is here. Now we are led to the price of anex, But upon arrival there is a strong feeling that we were cheated)
