Secondly, I liked the clinic itself (the locals say that this is the best clinic in Istanbul), everything is sterile, they feed for 5+ (in many transplant clinics there is complete unsanitary conditions, they feed with treasured food). We did not stay in the proposed hotel, because we rented elsewhere. But the photo is decent. Thirdly, the support of Eli's translator. She's always in touch. I have been subscribed to this clinic on Instagram for a long time. About 1 year. I watched their content with satisfied men who had their hair transplanted. And he decided to go to Istanbul himself to restore his hair.
Before arranging an operation at this clinic, I considered three more places. But in the end I chose a clinic.
They have a transfer from the airport. But the girl and I arrived a day earlier, and got to Istanbul on our own. But what is interesting is that we were still provided with a transfer from our area to the clinic on the day of the appointment. And we settled in an excellent hotel Naz City Taksim with breakfast and a spa area, which unfortunately I did not have time to visit. It is located a 5-minute walk from the clinic. But even from the hotel there is a 24-hour shuttle service to the hospital.
The clinic itself rents premises in the large modern Acibadem Taksim hospital. The hospital is new, clean and looks very impressive. I've heard that some transfers take place in converted apartments (which is very scary). And here is an 8-storey hospital!
In general, before the operation, I was sure that if something went wrong, they would be able to resuscitate me (anesthesia is still being done, and an allergic reaction with subsequent anaphylactic shock can never be ruled out)

Next, I bought air tickets and the manager booked the day of the operation at the clinic, as well as 3 days and 2 nights accommodation in a 4* hotel (with a hammam and a swimming pool), plus a transfer from and to the airport (everything is included in the cost of the operation). The clinic, as well as the hotel, are located in the very center of Istanbul. There is no need to walk, everywhere there is a free transfer from the hotel and to the hotel, although it takes 5 minutes to go to the clinic, to the square. Take 15 minutes. The clinic staff is very responsive and attentive. On the first day, they take tests and conduct a consultation. If you don't speak English, a Russian-speaking manager will help you understand what the doctor is saying. Then you have half a day of free time. The operation itself is performed the next day not by one doctor, as in Russia, but by a whole team of doctors - some doctors choose bulbs, others literally plant them in designated places on the bald spot. In my opinion, the operation ended very quickly (5 hours). But most importantly, after the operation, the manager literally accompanies you - tells you how to take care of transplanted bulbs (grafts), shows you how to sleep, wash your hair. By the way, as a gift they give medications for the care of the transplanted area, the necessary pills, a pillow for sleeping and a special bandage for edema (the right thing!). They also gave me a panama hat. The next day they were taken to the airport, and later the manager asked how they had flown, if there were any questions, etc. That is, patients are not abandoned, and this is very cool! Before applying to Clinicana, I consulted at Russian hair transplant clinics in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
