Excellent location, within walking distance of Galatoport, Istiklal Street, Galata Tower and Karakoy Ferry Station (direct ferries to the Prince Islands run from it). There is a Karakoy Balik Durum in front of the hotel (you will find out exactly one by one), there is the best lavash fish in the city (200 lire), you will not regret trying it! The hotel is small and tidy, the room was rented as a triple, there is a small extra room with a single bed. The bed linen is white and clean; the mattress and pillows are comfortable. There is noise from the street, because the road passes and there are bars/cafes here, but this is such an area. I took earplugs, and it was okay to sleep. Those who are light sleepers and without earplugs, I think it will be difficult to fall asleep. The staff is friendly, breakfasts are served from 8:30 to 10:00 on the ground floor in a pleasant area, the choice is not very large, but you can eat (boiled eggs, cheese / sausage, tomatoes / cucumbers / olives, portioned spreads of cheese, honey, jam, bread / rolls, only tea and coffee from drinks for an additional fee). The room has a refrigerator, electric kettle, cups. There is a balcony, it was nice to sit on it with a cup of coffee in the evening.

Of the advantages:
- convenient location. Tram to the center, ferries and funicular to Taksim are nearby. walking is also close to everything.
- the owner is always there, if there is any question, he will help to solve it.
- put fresh water during cleaning (1.5 liters).
- the air conditioner works well.
- there is a refrigerator
Minuses:
- the staff doesn't speak English very well, especially Russian. You need to communicate through a translator.
- cleaning. for 4 nights, we were cleaned only before check-in and on the first day. After that, they did not come to us in the morning and afternoon, and at 16 o'clock we hung up "do not disturb". Of the consumables, there were only tubes of gampun soap.
- Breakfast. There is no sausage, no fish, no normal cheese. Only eggs are made of proteins. In general, the whole breakfast is 100,500 packs of jam, butter, cheese and white bread. But there were delicious stuffed olives.
- The room. Specifically, what we had. Everything is bad here.
1. a room with a window, but a window on the corridor. No one indicated this point when booking. In the photo, the view of the window from the corridor and what is visible from the corridor in the room at eye level 170cm.
2. Dampness. Things didn't just dry out, things got wet. The air conditioner does not have a dehumidifier function and I just had to open the door to drain the room a little. The shoes were outside, and the clothes were also hanging in the hallway.

It was my first trip to Turkey, and I decided to celebrate my anniversary there.
I chose the hotel based on reviews, and its location was also important to me: close to the Bosphorus and transport, but away from mosques, so as not to wake up to the singing of the muezzins at 6 a.m. And I managed to find the perfect place to stay.
Pleasant surprises began almost immediately when, instead of the booked economy room, they put me in a standard room (Gasi, thank you very much!), and this is a decent difference in comfort. They treated me to Turkish coffee, escorted me to my room and showed me everything. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was very tasty.
It was a magical 5 days, first of all, thanks to the people, the hotel staff, they became a real family for me. They were very friendly, helpful, polite, helpful, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible; they treated me to various goodies several times, such as rice pudding (this is a popular dish in Istanbul). The food is prepared by two wonderful chefs, Mustafa and Salchuk.
And on my birthday, Gazi (he works at the reception and at the bar) gave me a magnificent cake, and it was the most delicious cake and the most unusual birthday!
The room was clean, the bed and linens were amazing, I felt like a queen, it was so comfortable to sleep. There is a TV, kettle, refrigerator, tea and coffee bags, drinking water; cleaning and a change of towels every day, slippers were also given out three times new. The air conditioner worked very unusually: it turned on and off as the air warmed up or cooled down, but it was comfortable.
The staff knows English at a basic level, and so do I, and we communicated through the phone app in Turkish, but it wasn't a problem, we understood each other very well, and sign language also worked wonders.
On the day of my departure, Mustafa helped me a lot with a taxi to the subway, called it for a good price. And when I left, I cried, as if I were leaving my house. But I will definitely come back. Thank you so much for your hospitality and warm attitude, dear Gazi, Mustafa and Salchuk, I fell in love not only with Istanbul, but also with you!

The location is super, to stop Tefana literally 100 meters, and is a major transportation 👍🏻 where buses, trams, next to the hotel there is a street with umbrellas, ladder Komando and other attractions, mosques are also 10 minutes on foot, housekeeping every day 👍🏻 Breakfast is good enough until lunch for sure, the owners are wonderful 👍🏻

For the first time in my extensive travel experience, I had an expectation-a reality. From the photos before our visit and from some of the tourists, you can imagine it a little differently. We took a room from 16.03 to 21.03. 4 days before departure, I couldn't choose for a long time and decided to pay for this one. The main reason was the balcony, because we smoke (e-cigarettes) and sit in the evening to enjoy the view. The location of the hotel is excellent, the neighborhood itself is good, everything is nearby (transportation, shops, the waterfront, places, etc.). Just for that, a huge "+". The weather was not very good for a few days and the adjustable batteries and the air conditioner were also "+" for heat, this is 4 pulls! They were cleaned 3 times in 5 days, and after my question to the hotel. At check-in, there were no lamps in the sconces above the bed and the furniture on the street was as dirty as after the winter season. The light bulbs were screwed in after 5 minutes, and everything was removed in the morning. We put the water on every other time, since we had our own in reserve and apparently decided that we would have enough of our own. The towels were replaced on day 3 (okay, that's okay, it's not the beach season). The room is very tired, as if they don't care. Our watering can was leaking, and it wasn't replaced. It's a little uncomfortable, as if the TV is not by the bed, but in the room at the entrance, we put a table there from the street and drank tea there. Room 301 faced two sides, but one with a view of the burnt-out house, the other on the Galata Tower (French balcony). Sitting outside is not comfortable at all with such a view!In general, the yard is quiet, cars with music rarely pass by, but this is the case everywhere, so it's absolutely fine! But the noise from the elevator with a shaft in the room is certainly strong. Of course, the staff is smiling, everything is nice, they will ask how you are, but 58rubles these 5 days were not worth 100%, taking into account the terrible breakfasts (bread and jam), it would be better to take them without them. The experience of the hotel is twofold. At this price, there are better options nearby like Galata or Weingart. To summarize: the location is excellent, the rooms are warm, the air conditioning is cold and warm, the battery is excellent in case of washing, the coziness and comfort are not very good!
The transfer was offered to us on the evening before the eviction (2000TL), that is, like everywhere else (we arrived by hiring ourselves in advance). We decided to go by ourselves, as it was more convenient and not in a hurry.

Convenient location, close to shops and cafes. The hotel itself is nice, but the lock on the front door didn't work in my room. There are beams overlooking the street. Turkish breakfasts are meager, but the coffee is delicious. There is an opportunity to smoke a hookah on the outdoor veranda.

We had a rest in December 2024. Excellent location relative to tourist spots, everything is close on foot. Friendly staff. The room is comfortable and there is a mini breakfast (tea/coffee, egg, olives, jams, butter, some fresh vegetables). There is a point with balikikmek near the hotel, it is very tasty. There is a pineapple peeling service in the neighboring market, buy and peel for free in a minute.
I liked everything about Costa Karakoy, as well as Istanbul itself. We would love to stop again👍

Very hospitable hosts. We met and gave them tea.
The rooms are clean, the location is good.
I took off the star behind the door in the room. The entrance door was not normally locked. And in the shower, the main door did not lock because of the misalignment.
Breakfast was turned off (boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, bread spread and tea, bread), I did not have enough coffee.

A good hotel with a convenient location.
The room has a beautiful balcony overlooking the courtyard and a bay window with panoramic street views.
Breakfast is standard for Turkey - eggs, bread, tea and a bunch of everything that can be spread on bread :)

A gorgeous receptionist or host, or maybe two in one and all the staff. The hotel is small, some rooms are very small, but you get a good location close to the center, responsive service and daily full cleaning with the replacement of linen and towels. We definitely recommend it and we will come again!!!

A good and inexpensive hotel. We lived in a two-room suite. Cleaning was done every day. Only the breakfasts are not special. And they don't give you coffee for breakfast.
