Abkhazia never ceases to amaze! Gagra is the most beautiful of the 7 cities of the Republic. Silina's cottage is one of the most beautiful abandoned buildings. The Moorish style is fascinating.. I highly recommend visiting Stalin's dacha (there's a brain explosion there)

A very beautiful abandoned building, the building was built in the Art Nouveau style. The current state, I must say, is quite decent. Admission is free! The inside of the stairs is in pretty decent condition.

A very interesting building, a curious layout, inside is 'construction clean'. There is a prayer tower on the roof. An interesting balcony of 1 sq.m on the 3rd floor. Alas, the abandonment.

wow place. We saw it by chance, we were afraid to come in, but it was worth it!!! a very beautiful spiral staircase, the building inside was brought into a decent view. p.s. to enter, you need to cross the road (there is an underground passage nearby) and walk to the green fence (the second time you were there, the door was closed, but it's worth trying to enter)

I really liked it, it takes your breath away when you realize how well the architecture has been preserved. We went inside and went through all the rooms, there was a gorgeous cottage.

I was at the end of May 2024, pleasantly surprised by the fact that a clean-up was clearly held inside and there is almost no garbage from tourists. The spiral staircase to the roof is perfectly preserved and sturdy. A wonderful and interesting cast.

The place is beautiful, very atmospheric photos are taken on the roof, especially at sunset. But there is a caveat.. Tourists have made such a mess of this abandoned house inside that climbing to the roof becomes a direct quest.

Almost everything that is said about this building does not correspond to historical reality. Sergei Nikolaevich Silin was not a merchant in any way, but a minor nobleman. His wife, Ekaterina Vasilyevna, is a hereditary honorary citizen of Moscow. The cottage was built in 1913.
