A very nice corner of Polesie, with its own flavor and zest! Some “conics" are worth a lot! It's an old tradition to celebrate the Old New Year! There is no such holiday anywhere else in Belarus! There are similar rituals, but more meager and not in such volumes! I recommend everyone to visit this lovely provincial town, which had Magdeburg Law at the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, of which it was part, on an equal footing with Turov and Pinsk. Wonderful, hospitable and good-natured people live there, speaking a unique Polesie dialect!
