This is a great hotel, especially if you are in Baku for a short time. Everything was fine, the rooms were large and comfortable, very clean, and the room had everything you needed, even bathrobes. A la carte breakfast is served right in front of you, we didn't eat everything, it was delicious and enough for us (yes, it's simple, but you're not in a 5* hotel with a buffet, it's great for 2*!). The location is convenient, close to the embankment, metro. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are rooms without a view and with windows facing the hood of the restaurant opposite (it's noisy and sometimes it smells). On the other hand, it is better to take a room, the hotel will easily allow you to choose a room if there are available ones. On the 4th and 5th floor, the rooms are above the standard category, very nice and the view is beautiful. The hotel managers are hospitable, they meet you halfway, they will help/prompt you, you feel at home, a really good place. In real life, a room is better than a photo.

Positive: • convenient location, all attractions nearby, metro within walking distance • spacious room, clean • there is a kettle and refrigerator in the room • water is supplied every day • there is a battery (for winter) • coffee machine for breakfast Minuses: • we haven't cleaned up in 4 days • there was no view from the window, when the window was opened, the air conditioners hanging outside were very audible • very hard mattresses, and sold on one side • there are 4 types of breakfasts (for me, this is a waste of food, half of the tray is not eaten. It would be possible to make snacks buffet style, cook hot)

We started looking for a holiday hotel in Baku 2-3 months before the start of the holiday. We chose a hotel located only in the old town. I must say that we have a lot of experience communicating online with the hotel administration and the most adequate and friendly guys were at the Da Vinci Hotel (our choice was about 5 hotels). The small hotel (approximately 12 rooms) is ideally located, very cozy and comfortable. I repeat that one of the biggest advantages of the hotel is that the administrators are pleasant and always ready to help. We knew about all the disadvantages of living in the old town, which tourists complain about (there is no elevator in the hotels, the breakfasts are not in the buffet format, the views from the room are specific, the problem with water) . For us, all these disadvantages turned out to be advantages. The room is on the 4th floor, but it is not so difficult to climb (although we are not young tourists). The breakfasts are prepared by lovely women individually. The breakfasts are very high-quality, full-fledged and rich (a choice of 4 types of breakfasts on the menu). The only remark, or rather advice, is to replace, if possible, the pictures from the menu with written cards listing what exactly is included in a particular menu. Because different ingredients were added to the same menu several times . Overall, everything is clean, tidy and delicious. We stayed in the superior room - the view from this room category is simply gorgeous (as in the picture ) at the fiery towers on the background of the old town . There were no problems with water, sewerage or heating (but we were in April) . The room is huge, with a separate nook (almost a room) with a child's bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom is also very large. Of the disadvantages, I would only mention the equipment of the room. : There are no hooks for outerwear and mirrors at the entrance to the room ( and this is important ) . The walls of the room are a bit empty and dull. But, these are small things. We would like to thank all the staff for a pleasant and comfortable stay!
