Not just a beautiful genre sculpture. Next to it, on the banks of the Neman River, an ancient castle with a bridge over the moat stands. I strongly recommend it! 😁

Monument to Dpvyd Gorodensky, military commander and politician of the time of Gediminas. He became famous for his victories over the Teutons. According to some historical sources, he is the son of Prince Dovmont of Pskov, according to others, Gediminas' brother. For a long time he was a castellan of Grodno, and after his death he was buried near the walls of the Kalozhsky church.
