The medical center positions itself as a center of evidence-based medicine for children. That's why we chose him. We were at the reception of the S.S. Pilot with a child of almost 3 years old. We applied for a routine check-up (age-related physiological hallux valgus). Unfortunately, the visit left a very negative impression, both professionally and ethically. Outdated recommendations. The doctor gave advice that contradicts modern evidence-based medicine and clinical recommendations of recent years.: - I prescribed rigid orthopedic shoes with a high back and a ready—made support (brands "Shagovita", "Nevsky"), which often leads to the opposite effect in preschoolers with hallux valgus - weakening of the muscular corset. - He issued a "recipe" indicating specific stores for the purchase of individual insoles, which looks like a commercial interest. - He forbade walking barefoot on a flat surface (at home on the floor), allowing only on uneven (sand, pebbles). It is especially alarming that in the center, which claims to be committed to evidence-based medicine, the doctor gave recommendations that contradict modern approaches. The formation of the arch of the foot in children occurs precisely when walking barefoot on various surfaces, including a flat floor in everyday conditions. The prohibition on this and the appointment of shoes with rigid ankle fixation without neurological indications are methods that are considered obsolete. Result. After the appointment, I studied the current data on pediatric orthopedics and consulted with other specialists. The appointments turned out to be not only useless, but also potentially harmful. I spent money on an appointment and had to look for another doctor. Conclusion: The doctor does not follow the updates in his field and uses outdated commercial schemes. Children with age-related physiological hallux valgus (without severe pathology) can only be harmed here. We will never go again and I will not recommend it to anyone!

First, the ambulance doctor- everything is fine. In what case, they turned to Volochkova Ales Viktorovna with the child- the child is wheezing! The doctor decided everything quickly and without a doubt. The referral to the scan confirmed the diagnosis- pneumonia. Treatment was prescribed immediately and we were able to do without hospital treatment. And already on the same evening, the maximum temperature is 37.5. Many thanks to the center (its head), as well as to the amazing, competent doctor. The only thing I would like to be able to do is make a repeat appointment and pay 25p through the ERIP, rather than for the initial one.
