Two beautiful Phrygian ruins, where history and nature are intertwined, are waiting to be discovered: Deveboynu and Doğankale. Both of them are located in the Seyitgazi region of Eskisehir, on the Phrygian Valley route. Castles are structures built for defensive purposes, carved directly into the rocks. The view is great, especially at sunset it is a special pleasure to look at the valley from the hills that dominate the surroundings. The road is a little stony and requires walking, but it is definitely worth it for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Admission is free, signs are limited, but locals help with the direction. Quiet, calm, places that smell of history.
