We came to this office to send a parcel to Dubai. One box is 13 kg, the other is 7kg. We were told to put all the things in boxes and only then we will be told the total amount. We shifted things:
We said the cost of the parcel was 400 thousand. Dram. (Considering that there were personal belongings). We said we weren't going to ship for that price.
After that, the girl decided to call the management and they wanted to give us a 50% discount. The logical question is: why did you initially give such a huge amount? Did they initially want to make money on us and take more money into their pocket?
A terrible attitude. Of course, we weren't going to send things after that. They asked us to buy a box in which things had already been packed, they forbade us and told us to put everything back to ourselves👍
I do not advise you to send things in this office.

After the arrival of the parcel at the pick-up point, for which the delivery was fully paid in advance, DHL employees began to say (referring to publications on social networks) that now they additionally perform customs clearance of parcels and bought expensive software. Therefore, it is impossible to receive the parcel until an additional amount of 7,000 drams is paid. And so there were calls, questions, the parcel was not delivered. After a week of negotiations, we agreed to a 7,000 additional payment. They didn't give us a check for the 7,000. The package was delivered. But today, information about the additional payment was deleted from all social networks - as if it did not exist, but 7k drams were collected from each for a week or more.
It was necessary to demand a letter with a request for additional payment and a check. To apply for a refund later. And so - they gave away ~ 1000 rubles or 7000 drams

The parcel went through customs clearance for about 2 months(!), came broken, and when returned to the sender, it was stuck at customs for another month. During this time, I have reached the deadline for a refund. In total, I lost the cost of the goods, the cost of delivery and 50 thousand drams paid for the hack work of a customs broker.
Such work is a disgrace not only to the DHL brand, but also to the country as a whole.
Now for the details. I bought a lens on eBay and it was shipped from Japan to Armenia on June 18th. He arrived in Yerevan on June 27 and hung out at customs until August 9. All this time, I came to the office once a week and stood over the shower for half an hour or an hour figuring out what was going on and what the "Clearance Event" status meant. It turned out that a scan of my passport was needed for registration and that I could not be reached. This is a lie, my Armenian phone number was indicated on the parcel and no one ever called it.
I have friends whose parcels were also stuck in the "Clearance Event" status and no one called them either. I left a screenshot of my passport, after which the customs clearance continued neither shakily nor smoothly. Then my weekly visit to the office and standing over the shower had a result and at some point I found out that I had to pay 25 thousand drams for customs clearance.
After that, on August 10, I received an item that turned out to be broken despite the very reliable packaging! I made a refund on ebay and went to DHL to arrange the return of the damaged parcel to the sender. I paid another 25 thousand drams for customs clearance and waited. My plan was to wait another 2 months for the parcel to hang out at customs again. No one called me again, and after a month I got tired of it. I came to the office and found out that the parcel could not pass customs clearance. The girl in the office called the customs broker and it turned out that the parcel was stuck because I did not pay the duty last time. That is, the last broker did his job poorly. Although the cost was written on the parcel and it obviously exceeded the duty-free $200. By this point, the eBay refund period has expired, so I don't see any point in trying to push the parcel through the Armenian customs again.

On July 25, I received the first notification that the parcel in Yerevan has the status of "Clearance Event".
August 10 - I was contacted to receive the documents, I sent everything on the same day
Today is September 2nd - my parcel is still in the status of "Clearance Event". Communication with managers does not give results, all I can do is wait.
I'm leaving the country in 2 weeks, but no one can guarantee that the package will be with me.
Why did I pay for the DHL delivery? It cost me 50 euros to the cost of the order and for a month and a half in Yerevan - not only did they not deliver it, but they can't say or guarantee anything!!!
