Gorgeous location, washed by the ocean on three sides, with ocean views from all balconies. The hotel is not big, but very cozy. Singing squirrels run around the territory, monitor lizards and iguanas walk. You can see a chameleon. A turtle swims to the hotel every morning. A completely deserted beach. The disadvantage is that it is very far from the airport.

A wonderful hotel. There is a beach with turtles or a surf beach nearby. In any case, one of the two beaches will be without waves, which is good, because there are many waves in Sri Lanka and it is difficult to find a hotel with their absence. The food is not bad, it is wonderful for such a hotel. A clean pool with sun beds and umbrellas, there is a shower. You can also play table tennis, volleyball or golf. But the pizza on the second floor, where the bar is, was not very tasty. I am also very pleased that there is a cafe Mahi-mahi near the hotel, which is owned by a guy from Russia. Everything is very tasty, fast service and pleasant prices.

The hotel on the outskirts of the town of Dickwell occupies a promontory between two lagoons. Accommodation in two-storey buildings. The standard rooms have a double bed, a wardrobe with a safe, a small table, a mini fridge, air conditioning, a TV. The latter is practically useless, since the signal is not very good, and there are no Russian channels there. The bathroom is a little strange, combined. There is a toilet at the entrance, then a sink and a shower in the far corner behind the glass door. In addition to standard rooms, there are superior rooms (they are more spacious) and two-storey suites. It should be borne in mind that regardless of the class, geckos will live in your room (they are afraid of people and hide behind cabinets), and chipmunks and even monkeys can come to visit. Once, early in the morning, a family of mongooses passed by. In general, there are enough animals on the territory. In addition to the above, there are also different birds (from crows to some exotic ones) that begin to row on palm trees with the sunrise. Sometimes a monitor lizard appears on the shore, and one day some snake crawled to bask in the sun on the fence of the beach. There is an equipped beach only on one side of the hotel with sun beds and umbrellas. It didn't work out much to sunbathe, because they were out of season, the sky was mostly covered with clouds and it often rained, so umbrellas saved more from precipitation than from the sun. Swimming in the ocean should be more careful, because there are quite strong currents near the shore, which are very difficult to fight. I had to save people a couple of times. In addition, various garbage such as bags and labels from bottles often comes across in the ocean, and the shore does not spoil the clean. The same bags, bottles, beer cans that no one really cleans. It is safe to swim in the pool at the restaurant. And the water there is, of course, clean. In the restaurant we had breakfast and dinner buffet style. Not too diverse, but you could always find something to your taste. Clay pots with local food stood separately, but it is impossible to eat it from habit because of the wild amount of hot pepper. The rest of the dishes are usually not so peppered, but you should not relax, because once a jalapeno pepper was crumbled in the stew. The main problem of the hotel is that it is very far from Colombo Airport, where the Aeroflot flight flies, but you can fly by charter to Hambantota, from which the hotel is only an hour and a half away. It will take two and a half to three hours to get to Colombo airport with an individual transfer, and with a regular one, by bus, all five.

My wife and I dreamed of a quiet paradise place to relax! A dream come true!!! A small cozy hotel on the "peninsula" wherever you look from the room, there is an ocean everywhere! Take the 2nd floor! Well, except for palm squirrels) they're chipmunks… There are A LOT of them out there! But they're cute and they get used to people quickly! Buy them nuts! • Kitchen ... For those who are used to relaxing in Turkish tents, it will certainly be unusual there. Because the variety of dishes is very diverse)) I really didn't know what to eat for a couple of days! BUT everything that is cooked is delicious!!! And keep in mind, you can take some POTATOES and not eat them because your eye is twitching acutely!))) So ask the staff if it's acute or not! They love pepper)) • Rooms… Everything is clean! All the furniture is alive) condey did not let you down! The mattress of truth raised questions, but we are simple people) I lay down and fell asleep! For those who are afraid... THERE are NO INSECTS and SPIDERS!!!) Only small geckos! This is about the room! But on the territory of the hotel there are monitor lizards, mongooses (or something similar), and flying FOXES! • Well, and such an important point at the last: if you don't be, don't be in English ... it will be hard! Russian is not used there! • And here's another thing: if you need a local "decider", well, there, get something (brought us a bottle of Rum and juice AT NIGHT)), go somewhere, excursions, where to eat and so on… Find SILVIO on the beach (he is in one photo)! All the locals know him there! I VOUCH for him!!! • Have a good rest!
